I'm certainly not perfect and I have made more mistakes in my life than I can count, but I often see, read and hear about people who profess to Christianity spreading stuff that's just offensive and it shows a lack of empathy for other people. Somebody shared something with me filled with lies and just unnecessarily unkind words about certain groups of people. I was naturally peeved this was shared with me and I demonstrated the proper answers, had words with the one who sent it and finally unfriended her. And despite all of this it was my fault. I should have just ignored it and moved on. That's something a person demonstrating a mature personality would have done.
