For those who aren't familiar with the context. In the Killjoys story, theres a band called The Mad Gear and Missile Kid. This is supposed to be one of their songs. 'Kiss my battery' is also an introspective reference to Red and Blue, two prostitute androids who live in battery city and play a major part in the Danger Days comics. Supposedly this is one of the songs that the Killjoys would listen to while driving in the trans am, no doubt through Dr.Death-Defyings radio station. That's nice to think about, like in some alternate universe, the Killjoys are listening to this at the same time we are 😊

4 years ago, this time of spring, my crush since childhood had the black parade pic as her iphone wallpaper. i commented on it, and she asked me what my favorite mcr song was. i told her it was FTWWW. she knew the song.
we got engaged in 2020.
i wish i could say honestly that the story ended here happily but it feels wrong to leave out the fact i’m writing this in memory of her.
she took her own life on august 26, 2020 and the world is so ugly now. but sometimes when i feel her spirit strongly, i come back to this same specific youtube video i shared a love of with her, and it soothes my soul for a moment.
