My Favorite Scar consists of five members, who each have earned their spores in different musical backgrounds. Men who are compelled to the power of the mighty riff - combined with mesmerizing melodies.
Late 2006 My Favorite Scar joined forces with producer Oscar Holleman (Within Temptation, Ayreon, Nailpin). A whole year of writing and recording followed, resulting in the soon to be finished My Favorite Scar debut album.
The name My Favorite Scar was derived from the song My Favorite Scar - a song they wrote together. It concerns the death of the mother of 2 band members. Without a doubt - one of the most gripping songs on the new record.
