(Merci à florian pour cettes paroles)
In "Mektoub", Nâdiya reflects on her life and future while taking a moment to pause in the whirlwind of it all. She looks at herself in the mirror and sees the reflections of both the disappointments and hopes of her past. However, what stands out the most to her is her strong will to live and express herself freely. She feels a desire to take control of her destiny and chooses her path instinctively, rather than leaving it to chance. By putting her dreams into action and working hard towards her goals, Nâdiya feels that she is fulfilling her purpose and finds meaning in her journey. She ends by expressing confidence in the future and realizing that everything is already written, including the destiny of her son Yanis.
The lyrics of "Mektoub" are a powerful reflection on the human condition and our desire for control over our own lives. Nâdiya's message is one of hope and determination, urging us to take charge of our destinies and choose our paths with intention. The music and melody of the song further accentuate these emotions, creating a sense of urgency and passion that drives the message home.
