The Legacy
N.O.B.L.E Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Once upon a time
There was a woman
Her name was rose and she liked guns
Around the corner
There lived a man
Named impala and he liked roses
During the spring of seventeen
They fell in love as the world fell in flames for their love
Do you feel
Do you feel
His love
Do you feel
Do you feel
Spring arrive
Do you feel
Do you feel
They are falling in love
His legacy is born in the summer of his love
She was a discreet woman for a long time
He was an indiscreet man for a short time
The legacy grew during the winter
She would be called vania
The Legacy Of The Rose And The Impala
Do you feel
Do you feel
His love
Do you feel
Do you feel
Spring arrive
Do you feel
Do you feel
They are falling in love
His legacy is born in the summer of his love
Do you feel
Do you feel
His love
Do you feel
Do you feel
Spring arrive
Do you feel
Do you feel

They are falling in love
His legacy is born in the summer of his love

Overall Meaning

The first verse of The Legacy by N.O.B.L.E talks about how people show more love and respect towards someone's legacy and accomplishments rather than the person themselves. He also talks about how people will consume alcohol and drugs during celebrations but are unforgiving when someone goes all out and achieves greatness. The line "That legacy we leaving what we live for" emphasizes that leaving behind a positive legacy is what drives us to do better in life. N.O.B.L.E is saying that even when you achieve greatness, you can always strive for more and that people will always have something to say about it. He talks about having a "hungry behavior" which translates to an insatiable desire to achieve more, to create a greater legacy.

In the second verse, N.O.B.L.E talks about dealing with the obstacles and adversities that come your way. He mentions how as a basketball player, people only recognized him for his performance on the court, but he was also a determined worker with a plan. He talks about how he helped people who were struggling and how his hometown appreciated him for his accomplishments. He references the movie Forrest Gump and how, much like the character in the movie, he too made it out of his tough circumstances to come back and help those around him. He mentions how people follow him on social media but he attributes his success to his faith and his connection with God.

Overall, The Legacy is a song about striving for greatness, leaving an impactful legacy, and overcoming adversities while keeping faith at the forefront.

#QOTD: How many generations have you played before ? What's the LONGEST you've played with ONE family ?

HillyPlays

I’ve gotten to 5 before my family tree just got a little too crazy for me: long story short- the half-sister of one of my fourth generation married her half-brothers cousin. The half-siblings share a mother and the two cousins were are from a set of boy/girl twins

Cocopops113

This is so bad, but only 2 generations. But I usually make my sims have children when they are an older age.

Oshin, I'm playing with a legacy right now. I just had an OMG gameplay moment a few minutes ago. My founder is now a grandmother (still an adult because she had her son younger). And after a one-night stand she's PREGNANT. Her son is a young adult with kids. BROOOOOOOO. So her son's sibling is going to be like 25 years younger than him?!? Man, in the Sims you can't make this stuff up. This just generated drama in my personal Gameplay that I did. not. see. coming.

THE TEA HAS SPILLED! LOL

Aww that sounds fun! The unplanned moments is what makes playing a generation family fun

I feel like Noelle is all about that doctor and mom life but when she gets older and becomes an elder and retired she might dip more into painting that she has more time to do so and pick up being a freelance artist as something to still keep her active in a way
