Plenty
N.S Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴

Bitch I'm in my glo, in my glo, in my glo
That slayer be on me imma keep it for the foes
Always been ten toes I can't go out like no hoe
Sippin' on that four before I rock out at the show
How you ain't getting to it you must wanna stay broke
They thought I was gon' fall off I went up just like a slope
Your money be slow my pockets gon' grow
He say he got hunnids but I got like plenty more
He say he got hunnids I got plenty more
I can call your hoe everytime that I get bored
He not really balling he can't step on the same court
Everytime he shoot his shot it's coming up short
I like my hoes exotic I found that lil hoe up on the shore
Make her face turn blue she never been in designer stores
Fuck up a cheque on Bloor
Dirty racks stuffed up in that drawer
Had to rinse that money like I'm doing chores
Bitch I'm in my glo, in my glo, in my glo
That slayer be on me imma keep it for the foes
Always been ten toes I can't go out like no hoe
Sippin' on that four before I rock out at the show

How you ain't getting to it you must wanna stay broke
How you ain't getting to it you must wanna stay broke

Overall Meaning

In the lyrics of N.S's song "Plenty," the artist expresses a sense of confidence and self-assurance in their abilities and achievements. The repeated phrase "Bitch I'm in my glo, in my glo, in my glo" suggests that they are in their element, feeling empowered and successful. They mention having a weapon ("slayer") on them to protect themselves from any potential threats or enemies, indicating a readiness to defend themselves and their position.

The lyrics also touch on the idea of staying true to oneself and maintaining integrity ("Always been ten toes I can't go out like no hoe"). This line emphasizes the importance of standing firm and not compromising one's values or principles, even in the face of challenges or adversity. The artist mentions sipping on a drink ("Sippin' on that four") before performing at a show, hinting at a sense of relaxation and preparation before showcasing their talents.

Throughout the song, N.S contrasts their own financial success and ambition with the perceived shortcomings of others. They boast about their growing wealth and prosperity, contrasting it with someone who claims to have "hunnids" (hundreds) but is surpassed by N.S who has "plenty more." This serves to highlight the artist's sense of superiority and abundance in comparison to their peers.

The lyrics also touch on themes of leisure and desire, with references to calling someone's romantic partner when bored and seeking out exotic experiences. N.S mentions preferring "hado," exotic women, suggesting a preference for unconventional beauty. The artist also mentions spending money lavishly on luxury items and experiences ("Fuck up a cheque on Bloor") and showcasing a disregard for the value of money by describing it as dirty and needing to be cleaned like a chore.

Overall, the lyrics of "Plenty" by N.S convey a sense of self-assuredness, assertiveness, and material wealth. The artist presents themselves as a confident individual who is unapologetic about their success and unafraid to flaunt their prosperity. The song also contains elements of self-expression, independence, and a willingness to stand apart from societal norms or expectations.

Sea Glass Archaeology

Hi there Julie! 🌅
Great question!☀️
For many generations in maritime towns across the globe it was acceptable to discard into any moving body of water.
Many towns had a designated area, sometimes referred to as “the rubbish tip” (or just “the tip”) where people would discard.
If you’re from Cape Breton Island (or have ever visited here), “Inverness” was the most notorious “rubbish tip” generations ago, which is why today it’s regarded as one of the best sea glass beaches in North America.
My hypothesis being; “one bottle, per person. per year” went into the sea for any general area beginning with inhabitation until approximately 1960 when laws changed with our understanding of the environment repercussions.
That being said, a town of 10,000 people would introduce 10,000 bottles a year into the sea (sometimes over a centuries time).
This is why I find such an abundance and variety as well, when I moved to Cape Breton Island in 2008 I’d never seen sea glass in my life however began making amazing discoveries and as I continued to explore identified the town “tip” which to this day holds more old bottles, shoe leather and oddities in the earth than I could imagine. As storms hit & snow melts off into the sea so much of these old world discards are continuously fed into the sea, or freshly exposed, if you’ve seen my bottle videos this is where they take place.
Hope this helps!🌅
Hugs Julie! 🧡
