No diferencio televisión privada y pública
"Quiz Show" by Nach is a song that criticizes the negative impact of television on society. The lyrics start by addressing someone who claims to be the ultimate TV expert but is disconnected from reality. This person spends their time in front of the TV, their brain stagnant and education lacking. The song suggests that they are controlled by the remote control, paying the price for their obsession with the small screen.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the addictive nature of television, comparing it to a quiz show where people are trapped in a never-ending cycle of answering the same questions. The lyrics highlight the unnecessary deception and immense harm caused by this addiction, with the reference to "hospital central" symbolizing the negative physical and mental consequences.
The song also criticizes the superficiality and manipulation of reality television. The lyrics mention various TV programs and express disdain for the way they exploit the problems of celebrities for entertainment purposes. The song warns against becoming passive consumers of this "television crap" and urges listeners to turn off the TV, break free from the darkness, and realize that the medium is not as innocent as it seems.
Overall, "Quiz Show" serves as a reminder to question the influence of television, urging listeners to engage with the world beyond the screen and take control of their own lives.
