The same year, she followed up with the Jonas Lundqvist collaboration " Fastnat för dig ", which spun diligently on P3 and received good mentions in a number of different blogs. The debut EP " Never the same / Always the same " was a collection of indie pop songs which according to GAFFA "Captures the Swedish melancholy perfectly". The intro track " Never Calm " was described as Sandra Beijer's most played song last year. In Nadja Evelina's world, we move through moments that remain long after you have experienced them. To be hopeful in someone's hall and hungover and lost in the stairwell. To stand on lonely subway platforms along the blue, not be able to get out of bed in Bredäng or tumble down Bondegatan in happiness. “The album was written during my first years in Stockholm. For me, it has been both about writing myself out of a love story, a kind of fuck you, but also about processing my move here, to conquer the new. By writing about different places and situations, the city has started to feel like mine, like home, and that process runs like a common thread through the songs. ”

When Nadja Evelina now releases music, she does it herself via her own, newly started record company Hjärtat Recordings. With full power over her art, she hopes that her vision is heard more clearly than ever - it must be felt, otherwise it can be. “For me, it felt like a natural step to go completely independent. Since writing is my most important thing, I wanted to be in a position where I can make creative decisions based solely on my own gut feeling. Now I am. It's the scariest and best thing I've ever done. ”

During the spring and summer of 2019, Nadja was out on her "Heartbreak Tour" where she played all over Sweden and also in Norway.
