He and his followers are causing destruction, while his allies try to regroup and strategize.

Their faith in a group of ten women, likely a reference to a cult-like following.

That backs up their views but your face is so bruised
While their beliefs and actions are supported by their group, your physical appearance shows how negatively they have impacted you.
