Necare was a Death/Doom metal band in the vein of old Anathema, Saturnus and My Dying Bride but were also influenced by bands like Katatonia and Evoken. Truly mournful and bleak music for the romantic doom fan. Sporadic use of a violin and other atmospheric elements. They use both grunts and clean vocals.
They consisted of two members, Jonathan Greer Cawthon and Ryan Henry of Reclusiam .

@Vinicius Sousa Wow! Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, we poured our hearts into this demo -- but we had limitations that exceeded our vision. My voice was extremely shaky here...I honestly felt the pressure to get the demo done in the time slot we had with the studio. We did a second demo (Appassionata), and then got signed to Firebox Records for one album (Ruin) in 2004. As it stands, I can no longer play guitar or bass...I have an incurable nerve disease and lost the dexterity in my hands and fingers. Greer, the drummer, is still actively making music -- just not metal.

This demo is one of the most sincere things I've ever heard, I'm inspired by the riffs and the way of singing the words the Latin in the middle of the lyrics, you guys should go back to making music.
