The Slaughter of Baby Jesus
Necrophobic Lyrics

Searching, death to all...
The lyrics to Necrophobic's song The Slaughter of Baby Jesus are deeply disturbing and evoke a sense of violence and destruction. The opening lines, "Destruction, death, Searching, death to all..." immediately set the tone for the rest of the song, which goes on to describe a gruesome and merciless slaughter. It is unclear who or what exactly is being targeted here, but the lyrics suggest that the intent is to bring about an end to all life - a nihilistic impulse that is both terrifying and bleak.
At its core, The Slaughter of Baby Jesus is a song about violence and the destruction of innocence. The image of "baby Jesus" being slaughtered is particularly powerful, as it evokes both the Christian notion of the savior and the traditional symbol of innocence and purity. It is possible that the song is commenting on the senseless violence that has plagued human history, as well as the dehumanization that is necessary to commit such acts. Ultimately, however, the meaning of the song remains open to interpretation, leaving the listener to grapple with its disturbing imagery and themes.
