@Agency that doesn't mean all men should be judged as predators, but it's good sense to feel cautious. Over 90% of women and girls has been subjected to s3xual harassment or assault by a man. You can't say that women are as dangerous as men. It's simply untrue. And it says a lot about the people who get annoyed when people bring up those facts, but they fail to get anywhere near as angry about the fact that this stuff is happening all over the world every day

@Agency the facts don't bare you out. At least 5% of men are interested in kids. Not even 0.5% of women are. Men are literally far more of a danger to kids and women than women are to anyone.

You can feel salty about that all you like, but it doesn't alter the facts. Most men are in some sense predatory. If it's not against kids, then it's against women or other men

And yes, there are women who predate on kids too....but again, stats show that they don't do it to random kids in situation like dance classes or beauty pageants. They are more inclined to do it to someone they already know. And even at that, men are thousands of times more likely to do it than women still.

It's not sexist to say that we should be worried about kids with men in these scenarios. Again, stats show that a terrifying amount of men are interested in minors. We should be worried.

Instead of getting offended by my concerns regarding men, why not get offended by the amount of filthy individuals in your gender.

@niara Jojo and Kenzie are both very different but very similar. Both of them are more performers than technical dancers. Kenzie, however, is more known for her singing and kinda started her own singing gig. Jojo is just a huge personality and basically a multimillionaire at this point. @Weaselbee In my opinion, Maddie was actually the one who seemed spoiled and bratty to me. Jojo didn't seem bratty, she just seemed very loud and confident in herself. Regardless, this doesn't really have to do with the op comment. Being bratty or loud or whatever at their age is normal and that doesn't make you an actual villian. Jojo was 100% getting the villian edit so many times in this show which is so wrong to do to a child. Maddie also got the villian edits. Many of the girls did. Reality tv in general is so toxic. Jojo and her mother were the smartest pair on Dance Moms, at least where marketing is concerned. They used Dance Moms as a launching platform for Jojo, they cultivated her image, and they never tried to make her the "new Maddie." Jessalyn let Jojo be Jojo, and people loved her for it. They really came out on top of the whole situation, and now Jojo is an icon!

Exactly. And Kira makes fun of her for telling her how successful she was at getting fresh stuff because of the show (off camera). This is the kind of mindset you need to become successful. Those who just let the show dictate whether or not they had a career ended up retiring after they left the show or having opportunities fizzle out.

I love how mature are some of her answers. I mean, the "If you yell at any of those kids, they're gonna cry" it's iconic because is true. Sometimes people forget they're talking with kids, I mean, I'm 19 yo and if you yell at me I'm gonna cry too!

@Weaselbee it's the CHILDREN'S fault? so little Mackenzie who was 5 when the show started it's her fault that she's been emotionally abused by a grown women?! not the parents that sign them up, but the kids? the kids had no idea how they were going to be treated, how is it their fault? they just wanted to dance. do you not realize how flawed you sound right now?

When this show actually aired I was BLIND to what an amazing mom Jojo had. I would have written her off as a mom who makes any excuse for her kid, because I was the loud kid and fully convinced that was wrong. Jojo's mom is a certified treasure <3

A lot of people thought Jojo was annoying but she was actually really mature during all the stress of DM. Like the way she reacted when Abby told her to get out for crying. Very confident and mature little girl. 👌🏼 I’m 19 and I like to think I’m assertive but if Abby looked at me wrong I’d start crying. That woman is intimidating.

She used to annoy me bc I used to do dance and my instructor was exactly like Abby. But after escaping that and looking back at dance moms, she is actually the more logical one and sweetest person. She knows how to stand up for herself, I’m so proud.

exactly. i used to love her on dance moms but then like the sheep i am i started hating her when it became popular. but honestly once again she has just completely proven to herself and to everyone else that regardless of what is thrown at her, she stands and thrives. jojo will literally never be forgotten for centuries because she made herself rather than depending on a show or an old lady to make her famous.

My instructor would call me the wrong name and say that he’ll only call me by the right name when I do the moves right (when I just joined that higher different group just a week ago 😂). And at a point I got bangs and forgot Bobby pins and was brushing them off to the side, so he started mocking me and rubbing his hands all over his head. Like bruhh why you attacking the quiet 12 year old.

I’m so glad that Jojo is blossoming into adulthood with the media on her side. Although I never watched DMs, I disliked Jojo for her self assurance and charisma and I feel really guilty about that.

Tbh she will always be my favorite. She knew exactly how showbiz worked and she never felt the need to lie about who she was and what she's done. Rarely caused drama. She might've been spoiled but all those girls are. I won't condone Abby's behavior, but her rudeness and unfairness is actually how that industry works. Despite, Abby's questionable techniques, she never whined, complained, and always rose up to the challenge. Mad respect.
