Euphoria
Nica & Joe Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Pushing through best they can
The hard times take all the air from your lungs
When breathing’s all we really have
Euphoria
Hit me with another shot
Take the dread away
Give it to me all you’ve got
take it day by day
There’s gotta be resolution on the way
gotta get a little lift
The heavy days are long and they’re longing for repose
But I can feel a little shift
Euphoria
Hit me with another shot
Take the dread away
Euphoria
Give it to me all you’ve got
take it day by day
It’s not so easy when the world is coming down
An overload of burden to bear
But humankind has always lifted up from the muck
And found a way to persevere
You do what you can (I’ll do what I can)
We’ll change everything
You do what you can (I’ll do what I can)
Let’s see what it brings
Euphoria

The opening lines convey a sense of resilience and determination as the singer observes the people they know pushing through difficulties as best they can. Despite the heaviness of the present circumstances, there is a sense of optimism and a willingness to keep moving forward. The lyrics suggest a recognition of the need for self-care and the importance of finding moments of upliftment and relief amidst the monotony of difficult days.
