Overall Meaning

The song "Anybody" by Nicki Minaj featuring Young Thug is an upbeat rap song about their success and influence. The lyrics talk about how they never actually killed anyone, but they have the streets on their back and have something to do with that body, meaning they are influential and involved in anything that goes on in their environment. They also refer to their wealth and success by talking about all the money they've made and how they can afford luxury items such as mink coats and designer luggage. Moreover, they emphasize their status and squad goals by mentioning their crew, how they're smoking out the pound and their jewels tussling or sparkling intensely. Young Thug, in particular, brags about owning an expensive firearm and getting all type of cash, as he has become a general of sorts, exemplifying his power and influence.

The chorus of the song, "You gotta picture me rollin'" is a reference to the late rapper Tupac Shakur, who had a song titled "Picture Me Rollin'". Tupac Shakur was a significant inspiration for both Nicki Minaj and Young Thug, as they both mention him multiple times throughout their careers. Additionally, Nicki Minaj's verse references other rappers' work, including the phrase "ready for war like Korea", which was inspired by Kanye West's verse on Jay-Z's song "N***** In Paris".

Glenn McFadden 😍😍😍😍

@dr.drob101

Glenn McFadden I have seen a video of a young guy in a basshead meet where he could feel the rhythm of the song by the subwoofers. I was wondering if you feel just the bassline or other stuff like the kicks etc. You should definitely go to a basshead event. I believe they would be happy giving you a demo. The bass on some systems is really strong and I think you would enjoy it. I hear normally by the way, I'm just a little bit curious of how some people understand, feel, interact differently some things.

@vinneyloca

Hey Glenn McFadden, so at the end of this song, the young lady was signing the beat, or was there some message that only individual's who know sign language cud understand? I think this was the dopest most well respected video concept I have ever seen and it gets the utmost respect from me!!! BigUpps

@Bigma203
