This was my first rave.
I walked in wearing an "Insane Clown Posse" shirt and a pair of baggy (borrowed) UFO's.
I finished half a bottle of Jack Daniels in the parking lot; and I sweat myself sober during DJ X-Dream's epic trance set roughly 3 hours later.
When I walked outside at dawn, my shirt was gone, my wrists were thick with bracelets all the way up to the elbows. I had a partially gnawed off binkie hanging around my neck and a damp Newport hanging out of my mouth.
A week later, I purchased a pair of Technique MKII's and a mixer.
This was not the movement of EDM.
This was the shimmering dusk of the euphoric rave scene.
You either lived through it,
or you missed out.

Nigel Richards is very underrated, he is PHENOMENAL! I have this cd and a few tracks on 12" Great mixer, great producer, and a really great guy!

I went to the whistle 3 party and had this cd a long time ago and it was lost along the way. This makes me so happy to hear this again!

Founder of 611 Records and huge part of the scene in that area. I also was there, South Jersey Expo Center. Amazing time.

@cyclotrode13x
I'm sorry to say, I find amusement in your ICP shirt going AWOL.
@jayblack7495
@@cyclotrode13x It IS funny.
Especially now.
If you find a similar comment about someone finding an ICP shirt at this particular rave, you'll have solved the riddle.
I miss those days.
