Nikki Kelly is a singer/songwriter born in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. From an early age, Nikki was immersed in music as her father played in local blues bands and her mother loved to sing.
Nikki began composing short classical songs on the piano in elementary school and won her first music contest at age eight. She continued to write and play music throughout high school and college.
After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Media Arts, Nikki moved to the east coast studying film at the New York Film Academy in Manhattan and music at Berklee School of Music in Boston.
In October 2006, Nikki opened for Marcia Ball at the El Rey Theater in Albuquerque with world class guitar player Stephen Bruton and bassist Luis Guerra.
