1) No Comme… Read Full Bio ↴There are a few groups that go by the name of "No Comment":
1) No Comment were an American powerviolence band from North Hollywood, California, active from 1987 to 1993. Along with other powerviolence bands such as Crossed Out and Man Is The Bastard, No Comment were influential in what was known to become the "West Coast powerviolence" scene for their aggressive musical and conceptual take on the hardcore punk genre. The band's vocalist, Andrew Beattie, confessed to liking both the metal and hardcore genres while hating crossover bands such as D.R.I. and Discharge, which combined the two styles. Beattie stated his band "just wanted to show that "Hardcore" was still alive yet there was no real "scene."
2) A Bulgarian alternative hip-hop band, who mix rap and electronic music
3) A pop punk band out of Plano, TX. Mixing straight pop punk, with influences from many different genres.
4) A Dutch rock band from 2005 with Roel (lead vocals, guitar), Robert (bass, vocals), El (guitar) and Patrick (drums, vocals).
4) A German EBM/Synth Pop band 1989 - the present (Franziska Kalb, Remo Muccilli, René Ebner, Stefan Klenke,Thomas Kowalzik)
5) A Croatian (1988. - ) noisy post hardcore punk band from Split, also a Post-Punk band from Dubrovnik, Croatia playing in 1984 - 1988 - their later years, singing in English.
6) A Bulgarian pop-folk (or chalga for some people) band. The band is still together.
7) A Co-ed A Cappella group founded in 2004 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
8)a Slovak(Povazska Bystrica) rock band.

A life on every face
And that's a change
Till I'm finally left with an eight
Tell me to relax, I just stare
Maybe I don't know if I should change
A feeling that we share
It's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me with rage, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me in haste (such a shame)
This eagerness to change
It's a shame
The dice decide my fate
And that's a shame
In these trembling hands
My faith tells me to react, I don't care
Maybe it's unkind that I should change
A feeling that we share
It's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me with rage, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me in haste (such a shame)
This eagerness to change
Such a shame
Tell me to relax, I just stare
Maybe I don't know if I should change
A feeling that we share
It's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me with rage, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me in haste, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Write it across my name
(Such a shame)
This eagerness to change
Such a shame
The lyrics to No Comment's song "Such a Shame" reflect on the feelings of the singer towards the idea of escaping from societal pressures and expectations. The song begins with the line "Such a shame to believe in escape", which could possibly refer to the realization that although the idea of escape may seem appealing, it is ultimately impossible to escape the struggles of everyday life. The following line "A life on every face" seems to suggest that everyone is dealing with their own problems and facing their own struggles, which contributes to the feeling of being trapped in a society that demands conformity.
The chorus, which repeatedly states "Number me with rage, it's a shame / Number me in haste (such a shame) / This eagerness to change / Such a shame", could represent the singer's frustration with society's expectations and their desire to rebel against them. The line "The dice decide my fate" could symbolize the idea that one's fate is already predetermined, and that the singer feels helpless in changing their circumstances. The song ends with the same lines as the beginning, suggesting a cyclical nature to the singer's thought process and a sense of hopelessness in their situation.
