@EddieRay VanLynch damn man i know that feeling must have sucked oh well wasn't meant to be maybe! My mom often regretted being able to see the Clash's amazing concert at MSG in NYC!! 2 dudes offered her & her friend tickets after they got off the train from NJ to NYC the two dudes were standing around with tickets & said they got stood up by their dates or something & wanted to know if my mom & her friend would go with them to see the Clash at Madison Square Garden! because the show was going to start pretty soon & they didn't want the other 2 tickets to just go to complete waste! & for some reason either my mom or her friend just didn't wanna go for some strange reason & my mom often kinda regretted it especially when i became a fan of the Clash year's later as a kid & told her that their show at Madison Square Garden was supposed to have been one of their biggest & best! i read in a punk book & my mom was like gee thanks alot rub it in why don't ya' lolz!!!...

I met Stevie while being in a cover band. We were playing a club during spring break and finished on Friday, I believe it was called Tortuga Flats breaking down our equipment and here comes in to set up early for the weekend crowd was Double Trouble. Stevie was very polite and was asking us how crazy were the crowds. Well ,of course, it was spring break in Port Aransas....crazy, crazy and there was only standing room. 🌟

This is maybe the most Stevie clip I’ve ever seen. He was such a funny dude, just a big kid a lotta the time; you can see it on his face when he laughs.

But then you realize he managed to have a conversation using both words AND hand gestures while soloing and not lose a single aspect of his run through the chord change and modal shift, and was able to throw a signature Stevie bend in so he could have a second of space to do the floppy hand.

Then the hard gear shift back into band mode locking in with the pianist for the turnaround change like it never even happened lol.
