Noisia Lyrics

Bassdrop! (repeat)

Overall Meaning

As "Regurgitate" by Noisia opens, the listener is assaulted with the repetitive chant of "bassdrop" followed by a guttural roar of the same. This opening sets the tone for the song, which is an intense, high-tempo exploration of the darker side of drum and bass.

Throughout the song's relentless four minutes, Noisia utilizes an array of distorted basslines and frenetic breaks that serve to create an almost overwhelming sense of sonic texture. The lyrics themselves are sparse, appearing only in the opening and closing moments of the track. However, they serve as an effective bridge between the various sonic elements, drawing the listener deeper into the track's abyssal depths.

Taken as a whole, Regurgitate is a raw expression of Noisia's mastery of drum and bass, and their keen ability to weave a complex tapestry of sound that is both disorienting and captivating. It is a track that rewards repeated listens, as each new exploration reveals new layers of depth and complexity.

It's the holy grail of music production. They are literally mixing with the laws of physics here, very technical and literally the next generation of music.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Regurgitate in 2048, I'm glad to see NOISIA still supports Studio Liverpool with their awesome tracks!

MrBurntYoghurt

It never gets old. I love how the third snare and the two kicks following just punch through more prominently among the side splitting mid and low ends. Really gives the groove and rhythm that powerful snap and bounce.

I hear elements in this track which are only heard once throughout the entire track. Bass on top of bass. When it comes to Noisia and sheer technical brilliance, there is literally no comparison, and you would have thought this was a bad thing since competition drives innovation. But the boundary is consistently pushed with each and every new release. It's un-fucking-believable.

Genius.

I don't know what the hell you just said but I agree.

You seem like someone I could sit down and talk to about music for hours and chill, your ear is good as the other guy said, I really like Noisia for his particular flow in transititions, he might use a quick breakbeat or jumpbeat or he'll just change the main sound perfectly like highhat or snare or whatever, always subtle changes that make you go OHHHH

@Soqui Music, you call yourself a producer ??

Soqui

OfficialGreggEvans Yes. Because technically I produce things.

+Soqui Music Not to be dickish about it but I suppose you still have a whole lot to learn about it. Since the technical terms here are pretty damn basic.
