Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

I got a good thing, I ain't gonna give it up
I got a mighty good thing, I ain't gonna give it up

Girl I got, just won't quit now
She won't stop lovin' for just a little bit
She's fine as wine, she's just my kind
That ever so fine, it wanna make me blow my mind

I got a good thing, ain't gonna give it up
I got a mighty good thing, ain't gonna give it up, ha

She knows how to love me when I'm feeling bad
She knows how to send me, whoa, she makes me feel so glad

She's my sex machine, she knows just what to do
She knows how to love me, she just makes me feel so true, uh

Squeeze me when I'm feeling bad
She knows how to send me, ah, she make me feel so glad

I got a good thing, I ain't gonna let her go
I got a pretty good thing, I ain't gonna give it up, uh

She knows how to love me when I'm feeling bad
She knows how to send me, she makes me feel so glad

She picks me up, never lets me down, ah, she brings me up, ah
She gives my monkey somethin' to talk about

Hey, I got a mighty good thing, ain't gonna give it
Know I got my sex machine, I ain't gonna give it up

Do you want a good thing, don't have to give it up
Do you need a good thing, ain't gonna give it

Everybody got a good thing, they ain't gonna give it up
It's my thing, I ain't gonna give it up

My thing, will not give it up
It's my thing, I ain't gonna give it

Can I holler? Yeah, let me know, yeah
Can I holler? Yeah, can I holler? Yeah

Can I holler? Yeah, can I holler? Yeah
Can I holler? Yeah, let me holler, yeah

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Hey, hey, hey
I wanna play some funky organ
Some funky organ

Some, some funky organ
Some, some funky organ

NAILED IT😂
Great animated AF storytelling as per usual from Jim...
I could actually visualize the lil dudes dramatic antics, and .... DAMN Norm's patience and literal reactionary constraint or emotional regulation to not ring the lil mongrels neck prior to showtime...
Fkn inspiring.

Ahhhh the days before the complete ideological subversion of society and SNL was sorta watchable while waiting for their musical guest to perform. 😂

Now I have homework to do to see what the next 10 years between them were like. Lol...

RIP Norm...
Gone but not forgotten. Left a lagacy of punchlines too hard to follow up or make a comeback to... 😂 A great, hard azz mentor mentality for future acts to study IMO.
Just like all the greats, talent like that is one for the books. Literally and figuratively.
Music, Science, Art, Math, Literature and last but certainly not least Comedy in particular honor their fallen every chance they get and are THE best and most memorable at it ... Comes with the territory I suppose.

@J.P. Sixgunner Hmmm…so you think Breuer is telling people to go find the clip online, that it’s easy to find when it’s the test recording?

He clearly goes through the countdown to going “live” and they don’t do two live shows.

He even walks you through that first session where Norm is refusing to do Rod’s voice.

Additionally, you can easily google Jim telling this story at least two more times where he changes details.

Obviously what Norm did really happened. Norm and Kattan have acknowledged it.

But Jim is interjecting himself in to the story and adding details that just aren’t there.

I could be wrong, maybe SNL decided to do two live shows that one night, Norm does Rod’s voice perfectly for both. Jim can’t keep a straight face throughout. SNL has covered it all up by erasing all copies of the original that Jim said was online to protect Chris Kattan and to kibosh a funny inside story.

Norm wasn’t just funny as a performance…he was always funny. Every moment was an opportunity for either a joke or a setup to a joke. He embodied comedy in its purest form. A true legend. He will be missed.

Nothing was better than Norm crapping on the Clinton’s and OJ on weekend update

"I didn't even know he was sick."

Best setup of his career.

Norm was the type of comedian that always wanted to make himself laugh most of all, and everyone else was just along for the ride.

There's never going to be another one like him.

@JobberBud

Jim's story is 10x funnier than the actual sketch he's talking about.

@DarrenSemotiuk

It's SNL , that's implied by default

@derfroschprinzausbayern

@Darren Semotiuk I'm not funny--the show...is really bad!
