1. A Swedish Post-hardcore/alternative-rock band. Normandie was founded in September of 2013 in Stockholm by singers Philip Strand and Johan Lindström, guitarists Joel Felix and Håkan Almbladh, bassist Stefan Timmerholm, and drummer Jesper Malmberg. Their self-titled found-track EP was released on September 11th, just a few days after they formed. Johan Lindström and Joel Felix soon left the group, which was now a quartet.
After their debut album Inguz was first released on February 19, 2016, indie US record label inVogue Records signed the group and released the album for the North American market. In July 2016, the group toured through several European countries and played at several music festivals, including Bochum Total, Rock the Lake and the Trebur Open Air. Following Rock The North 2016, bassist John Löfgren left the band. In December 2016, the group played in the opening act for Yellowcard on their farewell tour.
2. An alias of German downtempo/chillout producer Norman Radek, who released Time Lapse in 2006 on Sine Music.
3. A French folk band who self-released their debut album Le début de l'histoire, in 2022.
Babylon
Normandie Lyrics

I could be right
I could be wrong
I couldn't care at all
Saving my life
Or wasting my time
Won't make a difference
I know
We keep on building up, building up, building up Enough isn't good enough, good enough, good enough The higher the climb, the harder the fall
But something is better than nothing at all
Down we go
The rabbit hole
On to the other side
Reach the sun
Babylon
Are you following or falling out?
I could be right
I could be wrong
I couldn't give a damn
Saving my life
Or wasting my time
Won't make a difference
We've gone so far we have passed the horizon Can't look back, we're beyond any reason
I know
We keep on buildin up, buildin up, buildin up
Enough isn't good enough, good enough, good enough The higher the climb, the harder the fall
But something is better than nothing at all
Down we go
The rabbit hole
On to the other side
Reach the sun
Babylon
Are you following or falling out? Are you following or falling out? Are you following or falling out?
We got our eyes wide shut
Tripping on imagination
Reaching out
To a bittersweet temptation
Losing touch when we're waking up again
Down we go
The rabbit hole
On to the other side
Reach the sun
Babylon
Are you following or falling out? Are you following or falling out? Are you following or falling out?
The song "Babylon" by Normandie reflects deep existential questions about life and the choices we make. The opening line of the chorus, "Are you following or falling out?" sets the tone for the rest of the song. The first verse asserts that whether the singer is right or wrong, it doesn't matter. They are simply living their life and trying to survive. The second verse reveals that they've gone so far in their pursuit that they've lost the ability to turn back. They are beyond reasoning and rationale. The lines "We keep on building up, building up, building up / Enough isn't good enough, good enough, good enough" could be interpreted as a commentary on society's insatiable desire for more, where we are constantly building and striving for something more without ever feeling satisfied.
The bridge of the song is particularly interesting. It describes the singer's state of mind as a "tripping on imagination" and reaching out to "bittersweet temptation." This could suggest that the singer is taking risks or indulging in self-destructive behavior in order to achieve their goals. In the end, the song doesn't offer any clear answers but leaves the listener with the haunting question, "Are you following or falling out?"

We can witness now how undermanagement can fuck up a potential multimillion view song entirely. Alexa is pushing it though proper.
