1) Northside is a band from the suburbs of Blackley and Moston in North Manchester, England. Founded in 1989 by Warren "Dermo" Dermody (vocals/lyrics) and Cliff Ogier (bass), the band released their debut and only album, "Chicken Rhythms," on Factory Records in 1991. Northside was part of the 1990s Madchester/baggy/indie-rave scene. Michael Upton (guitar) and Paul Walsh (drums) later joined the band, replacing Timmy Walsh, who played guitar in their first single, "Shall We Take A Trip." The single was banned by the BBC for its references to drugs, but it broke into the UK Singles Chart Top 50 despite the lack of airplay.
Northside's next single, "My Rising Star," was released in October 1990 and reached No. 32 on the chart. "Chicken Rhythms" peaked at No. 19 in June 1991, produced by Ian Broudie. In 1991, the band scored a minor hit in the United States when their single "Take 5" reached No. 5 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The band split up after their label Factory Records declared bankruptcy in 1992, despite having recorded a second album.
In 2003, Dermo and Ogier formed Silent Partners, while Walsh played with Manchester rock band Sons of the Stage. In 2006, Northside played gigs in Leeds and Manchester, and the album "Chicken Rhythms" was re-issued on LTM Recordings. Dermo formed V Thirteen in March 2011. In 2014, Northside reunited with all four original members and toured England. In 2017, Dermo released his debut single "Vultures" on Eromeda Records and recorded his debut solo album set for a 2018 release.
2) Northside, a trap artist from Costa Rica.

Shall we take a trip down memory lane?
Head in the clouds into the acid rain
Time means nothing I can smell the trees
Chase that rainbow with the summer breeze
Sing LSD, Sing LSD, ahor, ahor, ahor,
Ahor, Answers Come In Dreams
Ahor, these Answers Come In Dreams
We shall rock!
Let's see you rock!
Ooohhh oooohhh rock
Defy all logic and brave the storm
Mother nature beside you do you feel warm?
Flashback to your days of youth
You've been there once, you're living proof
Sing LSD, Sing LSD, ahor, ahor, ahor,
Ahor, Answers Come In Dreams
Ahor, ahor, oorh, ahor, ahor
Ahor, these Answers Come In Dreams
We shall rock!
Let's see you rock!
Ooohhh oooohhh rock
And follow the trails off the fairies tails
In a day glo sheen, where no one fails
Altered States and a new ID
Open your eyes and sing with me
Sing LSD, Sing LSD, ahor, ahor, ahor,
Ahor, Answers Come In Dreams
Ahor, ahor, oorh, ahor, ahor
Ahor, these Answers Come In Dreams

The song "Shall We Take a Trip?" by Northside is a trippy ode to the psychedelic drug LSD, also known as acid. The opening lines, "LSD, shall we take a trip down memory lane?" invite the listener on a journey through time and space, into the hallucinatory world of LSD. The chorus of "Sing LSD" is a call to embrace the drug and let it guide you through music, nature and altered states. The song describes the experience of being under the influence of LSD, with lines like "Time means nothing," "Chase that rainbow with the summer breeze" and "Follow the trails of the fairies tails in a day-glo sheen, where no one fails." It also alludes to the idea that LSD can offer profound insights and revelations, with the recurring phrase "Answers come in dreams."
The song's lyrics are somewhat ambiguous about whether the experience of LSD is positive or negative. On one hand, the lyrics celebrate the freedom and euphoria of being high, with lines like "We shall rock!" and "Defy all logic and brave the storm." On the other hand, the song also acknowledges the risks and uncertainties of the psychedelic experience, with lines like "Head in the clouds into the acid rain" and "Altered states and a new ID." Overall, "Shall We Take a Trip?" is a vivid and evocative tribute to the mind-bending effects of LSD, a song that invites the listener to take a leap of faith and surrender to the drug's unpredictable powers.
