Medicine
Nutronic Lyrics

You check your pulse because you are a
Nervous wreck
You feel like you're constantly
Under attack
Stay calm my friend
I’ll look out for you
Realize the truth
You’re just like the rest, unglued
Medicine for everything
Take the pain away
Medicine for everything
Take it every day
Just float on with me
Left to right
You make yourself a note of when you
Feel alright
And no one seems to care what is
On your mind
Time after time
You’re chasing lies
Figure out what you got to lose
Realize the truth
You’re just like the rest, unglued
Medicine for everything
Take the pain away
Take the pain away
Medicine for everything
Take it every day
Just float on with me
Heads buried in the ground
This open door
Cannot be shut now
So tear the walls down
And come down
Medicine for everything
Take the pain away
Medicine for everything
Take it every day
Just float on with me
Medicine for everything
Take the pain away
Take the pain away
Medicine for everything
Take it every day
Just float on
Medicine for everything
Take the pain away
Take the pain away
Medicine for everything
Take it every day
Just float on
In the song "Medicine" by Nutronic, the lyrics depict a person who is constantly on edge and anxious, feeling like they are under constant attack. The lines "Front to back, you check your pulse because you are a nervous wreck" and "Stay calm my friend, I'll look out for you" suggest that the person is seeking reassurance and support from someone else.
The lyrics then encourage the listener to reflect on what they have to lose and to realize the truth about themselves. The line "You're just like the rest, unglued" implies that the person may feel disconnected or disjointed from others, possibly due to their anxiety or emotional struggles.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Medicine for everything, take the pain away" and emphasizes the idea of finding solace or relief in something external, such as medication. This could represent a desire for escape or a need for something to numb the emotional pain. The repeated plea to "just float on with me" suggests a desire to find a sense of peace or tranquility, perhaps by relying on someone else for support.
The following verse continues to highlight the person's struggle, mentioning that they make notes about feeling alright but no one seems to care or be interested in what is on their mind. The repetition of the line "time after time, you're chasing lies" suggests a pattern of seeking validation or a false sense of security that ultimately disappoints.
The bridge of the song introduces the concept of an "open door" that cannot be shut. This could symbolize an opportunity or a revelation that the person needs to embrace. The line "tear the walls down and come down" implies a need to break free from self-imposed limitations and to face reality.
Overall, the lyrics of "Medicine" convey the experience of anxiety and the search for relief or comfort. The song captures the longing for someone to understand, support, and provide solace, while also suggesting that the answer may lie in confronting the truth and allowing oneself to embrace new possibilities.

Incredible. There is a definite evolution and progression of diversity, skill and depth with every track Nutronic puts out. And they keep doing as they please, stylistically. Became a huge fan this last year. More of this, you two!
Just saying, if there was a physical copy of Futures I'd buy it...

Nutronic is by far my favorite new FiXT artist. These guys know how to get it done. Good job FiXT for signing them to your label. Please release this on at least cd instead of digital only. Major hint.

Having listened to the album time after time, and having listened to plenty else regarding new tracks from other artists, I have a couple things to say.
One, a lot of REALLY good music has come out this year, but I genuinely think this has been my favorite track so far. Considering last years favorites for me (Empathy, Chaos by Raizer, Kinesis by Soul Extract, and Do You Remember from The Anix), I think this one will be hard to beat.
