The bird lands, then appears a man
A man appears after the crow lands

Very sleek in physique, stood about six feet
The man looks tall and well-built

Dispute was jet black I had to step back
The man was really dark-skinned and it startled me

His dimeanor wasn't pure, I knew this for sure
I had a feeling that the man was not a good person

He had a diseased look that the world couldn't cure
The man looks sickly and it seems like there's no cure for his condition

I'm forzen, the fear returned to my body
I'm frozen in place and my fear comes back

Heart pumpin so fast, I thought I was goin into cardiac arrest
I was so scared that I felt like my heart was about to stop beating

I wake up in a cold sweat, wifey sleepin on my left sound asleep
I wake up feeling sweaty and my wife is sleeping next to me

I peep around the room then I make a sudden jest
I look around the room and make a nervous joke to myself

A feather from a black crow was beside my pillow
I see a feather from a crow near my pillow

Was it a sign from God to repute for the things that I did in my lifetime
I wonder if the feather is a sign for me to repent for my past actions

Now my soul's on the line
I feel like the feather is a warning about my soul

I'm puzzled, spark up a Newport
I'm confused about what's going on and I light a cigarette

Then I take a fall in hell it's the cancer
I know smoking is dangerous and could lead to health problems

Then I try and find an answer
I'm still searching for an explanation for what happened in my dream
