It felt good to be out of the rain
It was pleasing to escape the rain

In the desert you can't remember your name
In the desert, you may forget your identity

Cause there ain't no one to a give you no pain
As there is no one around to cause harm to you

After two days in the desert sun
Following two days under the hot desert sun

My skin began to turn red
My skin started to redden due to sunburn

After three days in the desert fun
After experiencing three days of enjoyment in the desert

I was looking at a river bed
I was observing a dried-up river

And the story it told
The story it conveyed

Of a river that floated
About a river that used to flow

Made me sad to think it was dead
It made me sad to imagine that the river had died

After nine days I let the horse run free
Finally, on the ninth day, I released the horse

Cause the desert had turned to sea
As the desert had transformed into a sea

The ocean is a desert with it's life underground
The ocean is akin to a desert where life exists underground

And the perfectest sky is above
The perfect sky lies above

Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
Beneath the cities is a core made of soil

But the humans will give no love
Nevertheless, humans refuse to show love and appreciation
