I'm far beyond the senses of five
When did the women loved their men?
In which place?
When did the women loved their men?
I don't know
At the end of time
Salvation day is faraway
If your love is blind
When did the women loved their men?
In which place?
When did the women loved their men?
Tell me baby, you still care?
Tell me baby, will you come around
At the end of time?
In "End of Time" by Ocean Mind, the lyrics delve into a sense of detachment or transcendence from the ordinary world. The opening lines, "I'm coming down from eight miles high / I'm far beyond the senses of five," suggest a departure from reality or a state of being that surpasses the limitations of the physical senses. It could be interpreted as a metaphorical journey or a state of mind where the singer feels removed from the ordinary experiences of everyday life.
The following lines, "When did the women loved their men? / In which place?" and "Tell me baby, you still care? / Tell me baby, will you come around / At the end of time?" evoke a sense of longing and confusion. It seems as if the singer is questioning the nature of love and its timing. The line "When did the women loved their men? / I don't know" implies a lack of understanding or uncertainty about love's intricacies.
The chorus contains the lines "I'm canned with expanded date / At the end of time / Salvation day is faraway / If your love is blind." Here, the imagery of being "canned with expanded date" suggests a feeling of being trapped or confined, possibly alluding to the human condition in the face of mortality. The mention of "the end of time" and "salvation day" invokes notions of existential reflection and an exploration of the role love plays in finding purpose or meaning.
Overall, "End of Time" invites introspection and contemplation about love, detachment, and the significance of these themes in relation to the vastness of existence.
