Wetin Dey
Odunsi (The Engine) Lyrics
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Whoa
Two shots for the weekend
Riding 'round town, no ceiling
Opps stay schemin'
We never watch, that we living
Lil' mana got reasons to let it all out this evening
Becomin' ripe for the season and we got a mutual feeling
I tell her, say
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Pull up with the boys and the shawties
And you know that we like to party
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
All my homies gon' ride 'til the last day
And you know that we like to party
Where you at? Where you been?
You know I been looking for, for you, baby
You know what to do, make it crazy
Make it bounce, we could bounce after this
'Cause I know you ex tryna get closure
Enemies tryna get closer
That's the reason why my heart got colder
But when I see 'em in the streets, I compose
And I tell 'em, say
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Pull up with the boys and the shawties
And you know that we like to party
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
All my homies gon' ride 'til the last day
And you know that we like to party
Bounce along, baby, bounce along
They be looking, they be looking for love (ayy)
Dumb enough, they be looking for love, yeah
Oh, my baby, dumb loving
Bounce along, baby, bounce along
Like you're looking for love, they be looking for love (ayy, yeah)
Are you looking for love? Yeah (whoa)
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Wetin dey, oh, wetin dey
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy

Odunsi is the future of Nigerian music. His "rare" album was one of the best of last year and he's still really young.
@abdul-razaqq9621
and also very underrated album in mainstream Nigerian music industry

Odunsi Is The Genius π

I must concur. I'm not Nigerian or from Africa but have always been enamored with Afrobeats and the sound, instrumentation, arrangement, and vibe that these beats produce. I listened to his album for an entire day driving from my hometown to Austin. I uncovered new sounds every time. I've listened to all his albums since then. Despite him not being as mainstream as Burna Boy and Jidenna here in the Americas, his sound is so fresh and relatable. I hope that he continues to grow organically. He makes me feel good. :-)
