The group’s unique, tight, yet full sound derives from its creatively driven members. OGN consists of Cameron Brown (lead vocals/guitar), Joey Vachon (backup vocals/drums), and Chris Andrews (bass). The band’s original songs display a range of emotions, anywhere from high-energy and upbeat to a mellow groove you can chill to. Either way, OGN yields a reggae vibe, a catchy melody, and a funky bass-line that will force you to dance. The three musicians got their start in the entertainment world at a young age. As teenagers they would play small sets at restaurants and bars in Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC under the name, Just Add Water.
It was early in 2011 when music became the bands number one priority. The three relocated back to their hometown of Charlotte, NC and dubbed themselves Of Good Nature. In a short amount of time OGN has reached as far as our nation’s capital, Washington D.C. and has gained sizeable followings in Charlotte, Boone, and Charleston. The Trio has just released their first album Just Add Water. Of Good Nature is jammin’ out regularly on the east coast so don’t miss the next show!

cnd I look across the water
cnd I think of all the things, what you're doing
cnd in my head I paint a picture
Ever since I've come on home, Well my body's been a mess
cnd I've missed your ginger hair, cnd the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over, Stop making a fool out of me
Valerie? Valerie? Valerie?
Did you have to go to jail, Put your house up on for sale, did you get a good lawyer?
I hope you didn't catch a tan, I hope you'll find the right man who'll fix it for ya
cnd are you shoppin' anywhere, Changed the color of you hair, are you busy?
cnd did you have to pay the fine, You were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy?
Since I've come on home, Well my body's been a mess
cnd I've missed your ginger hair, cnd the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over, Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over Valerie?
Valerie? Valerie? Valerie?
Won't you come on over, Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over Valerie?
Valerie? Valerie? Valerie? Valerie?
Oh Valerie? Valerie? Valerie?
Why don't you come on over Valerie?
The song "Valerie" by Of Good Nature is a cover of the original track by Amy Winehouse. The lyrics depict a narrator who is reminiscing about a past relationship and longing for their ex-lover, Valerie, to come back into their life. The singer often finds themselves daydreaming and imagining what Valerie may be doing. They express their admiration for Valerie's unique qualities, such as her ginger hair and fashion sense. The singer feels like a fool and appears to have made mistakes in the relationship, and they plead for Valerie to return and stop making them feel this way. The repetition of Valerie's name throughout the song emphasizes the singer's yearning for her.
