2. Omnia is an electronic dance music producer, his track Stick in monday was featured in the Trance Mix Mission Podcast.
Man behind it all, is Evgeny Smirnov. Born in 1987, he would grow up with a diverse taste in music, loving and exploring the beauty of different genres. In the 90’s, he turned his passion for EDM into a hobby and started toying around with producing programs. After discovering trance music, Evgeny knew which path to follow and started developing his sound into this direction.
At the end of 2006, when Evgeny was only 20 years old, he concentrated on creating his own, quality tracks and saw big names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond play his tracks and remixes on the radio and during gigs. Remixes on ‘Ørjan Nilsen – La Guitarra’ and ‘Armin van Buuren feat. Jacqueline Govaert – Never Say Never’ put Omnia’s name on the map.
Black House
Omnia Lyrics

It's a place I go when my spirits are low
I can taste in the Black House
Forbidden fruit though it's evil I know
All the people in the Black House
I can see it in their eyes, there's no need to disguise
My thirst in the Black House
Like heaven in the Black House
All the women are angels, all the guys are swell
And the music in the Black House
Oh it soothes my soul like a harp from hell
The boss of the Black House
He's a tall skinny guy in a long black cape
And he smiles on the Black House
With the skeletal grin of his white skull face
Raise my glass in the Black House
You can tell me that it's wrong
Too much whiskey, too much song
Kiss my ass, I'm in the Black House
This is where I belong
Give me whiskey, give me whiskey
All night long
The lyrics of the song "Black House" by Omnia describe a place the singer goes to when their spirits are low. This place is called the Black House and is where they indulge in the forbidden fruit, even though they know it's evil. In the Black House, the people are happy and open, with no need for disguises. The whiskey flows freely, and the singer feels like they're in heaven. The women are like angels, the men are swell, and the music soothes their soul like a harp from hell. The boss of the Black House is a tall, skinny man in a long black cape, with a skeletal grin of his white skull face. The song ends with the singer raising their glass and declaring that this is where they belong, in the Black House.
The Black House is a metaphor for a place where the singer goes to indulge in their vices, forgetting about their troubles and enjoying life without any inhibitions. It's a place where they can be themselves without worrying about what others think of them. Although they know it's wrong, they still indulge in the forbidden fruit because it makes them feel alive.
Overall, the song "Black House" by Omnia is a celebration of life, even if it means indulging in the darker aspects of it from time to time. It reminds us that we all have vices and that it's okay to indulge in them as long as we don't let them consume us.
