I first heard this song when I was in high school so that was about 11 years ago. My best friend loves this song and I sang this in her funeral because she took her own life last year. I always sing this to her to soothe her panic attacks when she calls me for help or advice.

She took her own life because she was raped.

That's why this song is so special and close to me.

@@hansharold4568 it really was. At first after her death some of my friends were saying "she's the one that got away" because of how close we were. I sorta felt like that but I accepted that she didn't have the same feelings like I had with her and I just wanted to keep the close friendship alive and I stayed true to that and stood by her side even in her darkest moments.
