In September 2010 the band reunited with new drummer Martin Davies and are currently writing material for a new album and live shows in 2011. An EP entitled "Fragmented Armageddon" will be released in June 2013.
Although they claimed not to be a "political band" — they are simply "political people" who are also musicians, they say the group's lyrics have a political message which can be interpreted as generally anti-capitalist and anarchist.
Food for the Brain

A fast ride, through anarchistic eyes
Take a look at the real world,
The wheels turn, on sugar-coated lies
Reality is a fist fuck,
A kiss first, a rat infested ride
Last laugh on the last laugh,
Take a look at the real world
Take a look at the real world
Waking up to the rat race,
The fast pace, consumer friendly smiles
Everything at the right price,
For each vice, 1-800 DIAL
Serving only to please you,
Appease you, remedy the void
Obsessed with the obscene,
Enough green, whatever gets you high
Take a look at the real world
Take a look at the real world
Fight the norm, fuck the rules
Feed the brain, fight the fools
Burn the book, ban the bomb
Fight the right, right the wrong
All the sticks, all the stones
All the clowns, all the clones
All the blood, all the bones,
Food for your brain
I pledge allegiance to no flag,
A blood rag, on every body bag
I'm not wearing a price tag,
A toe tag, for anybody's rag
I bow down to no man,
No bigger plan, no predetermined program
Mine is my own load,
My own road, my way is what I am
Take a look at the real world
Take a look at the real world
Fight the norm, fuck the rules
Feed the brain, fight the fools
Burn the book, ban the bomb
Fight the right, right the wrong
All the sticks, all the stones
All the clowns, all the clones
All the blood, all the bones,
Food for your brain
The lyrics of One Minute Silence's song Food for the Brain are a commentary on the state of society and the need to resist conformity and the control of the powers that be. The first stanza sets the tone by challenging the listener to look at the world through anarchistic eyes and reject the sugar-coated lies that are fed to us by those in power. The second stanza speaks of the consumer-driven rat race we wake up to every day, where everything has a price and is designed to appeal to our vices and fill the void we feel inside. The chorus urges us to fight against the norm and to feed our brains with knowledge and understanding, rather than blindly following the rules set by others. The final stanza speaks of individualism and the rejection of any higher plan or predetermined path in life.
The song is a call to action for the listener to wake up and take control of their own destiny, rather than passively accepting the world as it is. The use of strong language and imagery throughout the lyrics helps to convey the urgency of the message and the need to rebel against the status quo. The repetition of the phrase "take a look at the real world" serves as a reminder that we must always question what we are told and not be afraid to challenge the establishment.

Especially this song. It's always made me think of brain dead people going about life oblivious to how self destructive and blissfully ignorant we all are to the real evils that exist and that we support. From animal suffering, global destruction and of course, our own parasitic self destruction - which is something that you only see when you 'wake up' and educate yourself. our doctors are corrupt right up to right wing government, yet we still act so bone idle as we continue like a non sentient cancer to Earth following restrictive rules and order.
