I remember when I first listened to Opeth, I wondered ''who's the guy doing the soft vocals?'' and wondered who the band's other vocalist was. One of the best parts of Opeth songs is Akerfeldt's ability to rapidly shift between sounding like a demon to having a soothing and calming voice.

the shift itself is very easy if you have good technique but a lot of metal vocalists can't do cleans so being able to do both at such a good level is amazing
