Some of us have grown liking this song, its beats will remain pretty for ever. I once was young and now am old & retired from public service though in private practice as an advocate here in Nairobi capital city of Kenya, I have never lost interest in this beautiful song. It was good then, is good now and will be best for ever amen. RIP Verckys

Our record in all ghettoes around Kampala in the early eighties.

Not eighties but seventies.

A masterpiece! A music genius and a sax wizard of all time! Verkys for you. Eternal music

@WillsJazzJoint

This is African music at its smoothest. Then again, so much of the Congolese music from the 70s is just like that. When I have the need for the sounds of Smooth Africa, there's nothing like this old school Lingala palm wine sound to get me off.😊

My late mother had this song on replay mode during the night of her graduation at Kericho Teachers Training College in 1979. It blared from the family's Record Player (She had carried it to her college room just for that occasion)🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🪘🎸🎸🎸🎸❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥
