Orchestra is a Czech alternative group from Sušice, which consists of two members: Martin Vlk (el. violin) and Jiří Plánička (drums). Their music is something between classical music and hardcore.
Also from the UK:
With a pedigree that stretches back over many years, with roots reaching to the 70's and 80's with Electric Light Orchestra, the 90's with ELO Part II and from 2001 to the present as The Orchestra, heralding a continuing era of unparalleled symphonic rock! Following Bev Bevan's retirement at the end of 1999 and their triumphant sell-out concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall and Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, Mik Kaminski, Louis Clark, Kelly Groucutt, Eric Troyer, Parthenon Huxley and the latest recruit Gordon Townsend regrouped as The Orchestra. The new name acknowledged each member's illustrious former membership of the Electric Light Orchestra and/or ELO Part II but also forges ahead a future utilising the spectacular symphonic rock sound for which they are unequalled.
The term might also refer to the Orchestra playing the score or Overture to a Broadway musical. This term is technically inaccurate, being too general. All musicals have an Orchestra playing their Overture. A more accurate description would be to list the name of the composer who wrote the music.

Orchestra Lyrics

I'll try to love
Now I still cling
To faded blossoms
Fresh from worn
Left crushed and torn
Like the love affair I mourn
When twilight falls
Will the night bring
Another to me?
Not your kind
But let me find
It's not true that love is blind
Sunshine's around me
But deep in my heart it's cold as ice
Love, once you've found me
But can that story unfold twice?
Some other spring
Will my heart awake?
Stirring to sing
Love's magic music
Then forget the old duet
Love in some other spring?
Spring?
The lyrics of Orchestra's song "Some Other Spring" evoke a sense of longing and melancholy as the singer reflects on a past love affair that has ended. The opening line, "Some other spring," suggests that the singer is hoping for a new beginning or a fresh start in the future. They express a desire to love again, but at this moment, they are still holding on to the remnants of a failed relationship, represented by "faded blossoms" that are "crushed and torn." The sorrowful tone of the lyrics can be felt through the words "mourn" and "twilight falls," further emphasizing the sense of loss and yearning that the singer is feeling.
As the song progresses, the singer contemplates the idea of finding love again, questioning whether the night will bring someone new into their life. They acknowledge that this new love may not be the same as what they had before but are hopeful to find something real and meaningful. The line "It's not true that love is blind" suggests that the singer has learned from their past experiences and is looking for a love that is more genuine and true.
The lyrics also touch upon the contrast between external appearances and internal emotions. The mention of "Sunshine's around me" implies that there may be happiness and positivity in the singer's surroundings, but deep inside, their heart feels cold as ice. This juxtaposition further reinforces the theme of longing and the desire to find love again, suggesting that even amidst external happiness, there can still be a void if love is absent.
In the final lines, the singer wonders if their heart will awaken in some other spring and if they will find a love that will allow them to sing and experience the magic of love once more. The mention of "forgetting the old duet" indicates a willingness to move on from the past and embrace new possibilities.
Overall, the lyrics of "Some Other Spring" paint a picture of yearning, hope, and the longing for a new love to replace a lost one. The song captures the emotional complexities of love and the desire for a fresh start, ultimately leaving the possibility of love in some other spring open-ended.
