amazing tutorial! only had some issues with "unfolding" the head but this was otherwise super easy to follow, considering i'd never done anything more complex than a paper crane. on my very first try i managed to make it almost identical, despite using a paper way smaller than yours- and i think that really talks about how clear your instructions were. thank you :D

Wow! This fold is very confusing but you made it easier than most videos would, with clear shots of how to fold confusing parts and a little reference at the top to tell you what to do next. This took me a while but I made it!

Thanks for the tutorial! The wings were rough for me and so was the head but managed to do 2 dragons out of 3 tries! They are a xmas gift for a friend who doesnt know what they want for xmas but likes reading fantasy so im super glad to find your tutorial!

Some tips to make your experience watching my videos much better. You can change the speed and control the player using the shortcuts below:
"<" key - decrease play speed (you can also click the settings icon on the bottom right to change the speed)
">" key - increase play speed
"j" key - Move backward 10 sec (very useful when you need to repeat a step)
"k" key - Pause/play video
"l" key - Move forward 10 sec
On mobile you can change speed in the top right settings icon, double tap the screen on left/right side to skip 10 seconds

Just wanted to say your tutorials is what taught me how to read the diagrams so now I have the freedom to fold anything I want from a book. Your videos are clear, and I love the diagram on the side and that you use all the proper folding terms. This was yet another excellent and clear tutorial. You are probably my favourite origami artist to learn from. Very easy to make (I'm an advanced folder). Loved it. I'd post a photo of what I made if I could but not sure how!

Awesome video! The subtitle instructions, folding pattern in the corner and the pacing of it really help me to follow what's happening (with a few rewinds for the tricky bits). Now to try the V2 dragon 🙂

Just made one about a half hour ago gave it to my dad and then I've come back again to make another one cause I forgot how to make it. ('Cause I usually remember how to make the origami i had watched a video on). This was the longest one I've ever made tho. I loved it! Thanks! Keep up the amazing origami!

Hey! I memorized all the steps for this and made this for my interschool origami competition! I got 3rd place, as the competition was a very poor one; they were very lenient, and we had to make a ‘background’ with an ‘object’ for each model. I did not make one and presented this model on its own, saying that it is against what I do, and I still got 3rd! I can bet the 1st and 2nd place winners made a really cool background (paints and stuff), but again, it shouldn’t help them get a higher rank!

@Shrektopuz There wasn’t any problem, its just that they had marks for the background, although it is a competition about origami, not about how good you can make your background to be.

this thing was easy, but the part where it took me the most time was at 15 minutes (the head part) and this man has made help videos for that too!! worth it, make sure you try it when your mood is good and stay patient. i got it in my first try :)

I had always known I was an artist. If you doubt me just look at the abstract donkey with flaps ( representing wings) I created. The piece symbolizes the world we live in and what we aspire to be vs what we really are, which is a crumbled piece of paper.

Quite impressive - congratulations once more. Even though the pace of the making is rather slow, there are a few details that may pass unnoticed the first time around, like subtle movements of your fingers to adjust a fold and get the right crease. You don’t know how much I tried and tried! Hours of patience and a irritable mood. I failed 4 times and 3 times I gave up! Then I finally made it! Keep trying people and you WILL make it! It’s totally worth it.
(I’m here again because I was soo proud that I made it I put it on the top the of the Christmas Tree... and now I lost it 😢)
