Esta melodia como tres mas de Otto..la escuchaba de niño..y me transportaba a un paraiso maravilloso de sensaciones inexplicables...una de ellas la escuché en algún comercial,y me maravillé con esos segundos...hasta lograr encadenarme a ellas...y disfrutarla completas.

Lembro-me de ter juntado moedas até conseguir totalizar o valor e poder comprar este LP que aparece na foto. Isto deve ter sido em 1953. Estava então nos meus 12 anos de idade. Este era o tipo de música que os jovens da época gostavam. Mas, infelizmente, tudo mudou de lá para cá.

I've had the same experience you had. Not only I was fascinated by Cesana's music that I used to listen back in the 50ties but I would be mesmerized by the beautiful picture on the cover of his album. Unfortunately that LP was lost. I am glad to find "Enchantment" on Youtube.

I was a "Beautiful Music" radio announcer in Houston Texas during the 1960s, 70s, and early 80s...KODA AM/FM, and KYND FM. I sadly miss this type of good music on the radio. I loved using Cesana selections as background for prestige ads, such as wine shops and luxury car dealers. I won a few awards for those.

Very familiar music music on the radio in the 50s. It was used as theme music to "relaxing music hour" shows. That was when radio was a great medium. It was before squawk/talk radio where everybody is angry with each other and no problems are ever solved. Just talked about.

early ‘50’s, WRUF in Gainesville, Florida.

AHA! Theme used by WVNJ, New Jersey, whose signal hit Manhattan in the early 60s. They ran this theme intro several times an hour. At that time, there were two other "good music" stations. WPAT, Patterson, NJ: "In the air everywhere in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut." Had a strange playlist of the banal from Walt Disney. But they had a great LP they'd play tracks from. Two were Coney Island by Don Banks and Prater Fest, surreal arrangements of Strauss Waltzes, by Douglas Gamely. The Capitol LP was Musical Merry Go Round. I have a well worn copy I keep for the art work and nostalgia. It was released on CD as a 2-disk. Sound quality not as good as the LP. MP3 that has a unique way of making strings sound like ground glass being scratched. Can't be filtered out. It is embedded. Thus, the good quality remains in my mind's ear. The other station was WHN, NYC, with Great Albums of Music. Also recall American Airlines Music Till Dawn with Sy Mann's arrangement of That's All that was history by then I think. My NYC days were utterly fantastic. Alas, I came back to work as the night DJ/CE at KVOX, Moorhead, Minnesota. hahaha. Then on to what has become Murderapolis with 1 to 3 stabbings, shootings and/or murders a day. And pansy brats protesting and rioting. Whole sections of businesses looted. Looks like a Syrian city war zone. Smith & Wesson is the only answer.
