In July 2017, Our Mirage released their first official single, "Revivor," which quickly gained popularity alongside their song "Nightfall." During 2017, the band performed a series of concerts in Germany and embarked on their first small European tour in November of the same year.
Our Mirage's music is characterized by hard-hitting lyrics that touch on themes such as depression, anxiety, and bullying. Their style combines elements of melodic hardcore and post-hardcore, with influences from alternative rock. The band's songs often explore personal experiences and emotions, and their sound is described as mellow yet impactful, with clear vocals and punchy instrumentals.
The band signed with the German label Arising Empire in July 2018 where they released their debut album, "Lifeline", on August 24, 2018. Prior to the release of the album , the band opened the Elbriot festival in Hamburg on August 18, 2018, sharing the stage with bands like Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, and Arch Enemy. In December of that year, Our Mirage accompanied Breathe Atlantis and Imminence on their European tour.
In 2019, the band opened for Callejon on their Hartgeld im Club pt.II tour. They embarked on their first headlining tour in March 2019, with Die Heart and The Disaster Area as supporting acts. Throughout the summer of 2019, Our Mirage performed at various festivals in Germany, including the Impericon Festival in Munich and the Deichbrand Festival in Cuxhaven.
In February 2020, the band released their album "Unseen Relations" after a break from playing for almost two years. They returned with three singles during this time: "Transparent," "Remedy," and "Calling You." In early 2022, the band resumed their Unseen Relations Release tour, performing at numerous concerts and festivals. They made appearances at festivals such as Vainstream, Fallen Fortress, and Traffic Jam.

cause every day I tell myself another lie
But I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m so far from home
When I stared into the lights
Of an endless stellar mass
A black hole rises from
The place where I belong,
Leaving nothing but darkness
I lose control but feel a force that pulls so heavily
It’s pulling me under
It‘s almost like I’m suppressed by
suppressed by gravity
Tell me will I be fighting in another life?
cause every day I tell myself another lie?
But I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m so far from home.
And as I sense something,
I fall onto the ground
and realize what could have been
Deep inside I feel
this emptiness in me
And now that I‘m alone,
So far away from home
I lose control but feel a force that pulls so heavily,
It’s pulling me under
It‘s almost like I’m suppressed by
suppressed by gravity
I’ve dropped my soul into the abyss
My whole world is darkened in Eclipse
in Eclipse!
Tell me will I be fighting in another life?
cause every day I tell myself another lie?
But I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m so far from home.
Is this the time where all my thoughts divide?
Or am I the reason that all the stars collide?
So here I am on my collision course,
I feel responsible, stung with remorse!
Tell me will I be fighting in another life?
Cause every day I tell myself another lie?
But I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m so far from home.
Tell me will I be fighting in another life?
cause every day I tell myself another lie?
But I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m not okay!
I’m so far from home.
Tell me is this the time
When I lose my mind?
Is there anything Afterall?
I’ll be okay!
Is this the time
When all stars collide?
I’ll be okay!
I’ll be,
I’ll be okay!
The lyrics to Our Mirage's song "Eclipse" convey a sense of inner turmoil and the feeling of being lost and disconnected from oneself. The singer questions if they will continue to struggle and fight in future lives, suggesting a recurring pattern of conflict and self-deception. Each day, they admit to telling themselves another lie, indicating a desperate attempt to maintain a facade of okay-ness. However, the repeated refrain of "I'm not okay" reveals their true emotional state.
The mention of staring into the lights of an endless stellar mass and a rising black hole represents a sense of being overwhelmed and consumed by darkness. The singer feels a force that pulls them under, as if they are being suppressed by gravity itself. They drop their soul into the abyss, symbolizing a profound loss of hope and a world that is darkened in an eclipse.
As the song progresses, the singer wonders if they are the reason for the collision of stars, hinting at feelings of responsibility and guilt. They acknowledge the inner emptiness and distance from their home, emphasizing a deep sense of loneliness and disconnection. Despite all the turmoil and confusion, the singer reassures themselves that they will be okay, but there remains a lingering uncertainty.
Overall, "Eclipse" expresses the struggles of the human psyche, the battle with self-deception, and the longing for a sense of belonging and inner peace.

touched deep in my heart from this band! ❤ over 40 years I saw so many stories in my live - heard so many music - told so many stories myself as an actor - falled so many times in love to someone, something - but this band is a special part of my heart now! Thank you so much, that I could be a part of your amazing creative power as an actor playing the role of the scientist and father from Timo! If I ever would have a son in my next live in another universe I would choose Timo from OUR MIRAGE 💫
