Devil Woman
Our Untold Story Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I followed her in to the ally way
I could tell that she wanted to lead me astray
As I looked deep in to her eyes
I could see she was the devil, in disguise!

Devil Woman
Has a grip on my heart
Devil Woman
This is only the start
Of something wild and CRAZY!

The kind of girl that your momma warned you about
That kind of woman, makes you wanna scream and shout
Sheā€™ll hold you down like a ball and chain
Then stand there laughing as you
Go insane!

Devil Woman
Has a grip on my heart
Devil Woman
This is only the start
Of something wild and CRAZY!

She comes from the depths of hell
One look at me and Iā€™m under her spell
She looks at me and she walks away
I tell her stop, oh wonā€™t you please stay!

I canā€™t take this anymore, no never again
[x8]

I promised myself that I wouldnā€™t slip
I promised myself to not fall back to bed
But sheā€™s so deep, inside of my head
A grip so tight, I wish I was dead!

Devil Woman
Has a grip on my heart
Devil Woman

This is only the start
Of something wild and CRAZY!

@Dewaldt The tablet is Gilgamesh and the Huluppu tree. A predecessor to the Bible. Most of the stories from the Bible are taken from it, particularly the creation story and the story of Noah.

Lilith is mentioned by name in Isaiah:

"Wildcats shall meet hyenas,
Goat-demons shall greet each other;
There too the lilith A kind of demon shall repose
And find herself a resting place."

Whether she is mentioned as the first wife of Adam or not is irrelevant. The fact that she existed is what is important. It is known that mythologies expand and evolve over time, and the myth of Lilith is no different.

Eve = E ve = widow
Why Adam named her Eve (widow)?
Was she created by the ribs of Adam or she came with two apples from sideways of the garden of Eden = E dhen = given?
If It has been so, that Eve came from outside in the garden of Eden, then another question can be raised.
Fallen angels? Or Failed to protect the angels of the Edenā€™s garden? Did they saw the widows more beautiful than the women of the Eden?

Lilith = li - lith = tie
Was Lilith tying the Adams of Eden to stop them eating the apples of these in-coming widows?
If so, Lilith was not a human and not a woman.

God is the truth and the truth is love!

LILITH!

@kys HOW do you know, objectively, that Eve was real? What evidence, and I do not mean here-say, do you have? If you take the written sources that say that Eve was real, then those that say that Lilith was real are of equal validity. If you deny those that say Lilith was real, then you eliminate the basis for acceptance-as-evidence you give those that say Eve was real. Rather a bind, is it not? You find yourself at the separation twixt proof and faith. You can't dispute proof, or the LACK of proof, and the latter in both cases is where it stands.

Everyone blaming Eve for getting us kicked out Eden but donā€™t want to talk about how if Adam had been a bottom we would all be chillin in the garden rn. Smh.

Unless Adam was the one who ate it in the first place. We're told the devil lied to Eve and said God didn't want them to eat of the tree because they'd be like God. Men have ruled this planet for thousands of years. Who does it sound like that wants to be like God? Man.

@babybold3000 sure buddy. What ever you say little guy.

Fun and informative video. I love reading about Lilith in the Zohar. I believe the earliest literature on Lilith can be seen in the ancient Sumerian text titled, "Inanna and the Huluppu Tree."
