Maluphakanyisw' uphondo lwayo
Yizwa imithandazo yethu
Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo
"Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso
O fedise dintwa le matshwenyeho
O se boloke, O se boloke setjhaba sa heso
"Uit die blou van onse hemel
Uit die diepte van ons see
Oor ons ewige gebergtes
Waar die kranse antwoord gee
"Sounds the call to come together
And united we shall stand
Let us live and strive for freedom
In South Africa our land
The South African national anthem, as interpreted by Overtone, is a moving song that speaks to the hopes and aspirations of the people of South Africa. At its core, the anthem is a prayer to God to bless the land of South Africa and to protect its people. The first verse, "Nkosi sikelel′ iAfrika" means "God bless Africa" and is a plea to God to look after the land and its people.
The second verse, "Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso," is a call to the people of South Africa to come together and protect each other. The verse speaks to the need for unity and togetherness in the face of adversity. It also speaks to the need to protect the land and the people from all forms of external threats.
The final verse, "Sounds the call to come together," is a call to action. It is a call for all South Africans to come together and work towards a common goal of freedom and unity. It is a reminder that freedom is not something that can be given, but something that must be fought for and earned.

English translation:
Oh, glory to thee, my dear continent of Africa!
May thy glory be so omnipotent!
Listen to all our prayers,
And may God bless us all, oh Thy children - that's you and me!
Oh Lord, Thou will protect our fates and our nation,
To end all wars and nightmares.
Oh, protect us always, and our nation too!
Defend South Africa, South Africa (SOUTH AFRICA!).
Out the blue of our heaven,
Out the depths of our sea,
Over our eternal mountain ranges
Where the cliffs give an echo...
Sounds the call to come together,
And united - we shall stand.
Let us live and strive for freedom:
In South Africa... OUR LAND!!!

I'm from South Africa, and I love this song so much. I used to sing this song with about 900 other pupils every monday morning at school assembly. Every time I sang with on these monday mornings, I always got goosebumps, singing with another 900 people, passionately might I add, everyone seemed real passionate and always sang along. till this day I still get goosebumps thinking about it. It was just awesome. I LOVE THIS SONG! :D
