Stálý člen je od začátku pouze zpěvák a kytarista Robert Papoušek. Kapela během prvních dvou let prodělala mnoho změn. Poslední na přelomu roku 2011 a 2012. Doufáme, že je to již poslední změna a kapela si současnou sestavu udrží "na pořád".

Na konci zimy roku 2011 se připojil nový a nyní už stálý člen kapely kytarista Petris a na jaře 2011 přibyla baskytaristka Kate. Kate však koncem září odešla a na její místo nastoupil zkušený basák Béda. Sotva jsme však rozdýchali kocovinu ze silvestru a přišla další změna. Kapelu opustil bubeník Burgr (zakládající člen kapely) a na jeho místo nastoupil Adam.

Repertoár je složený převážně z vlastní tvorby, avšak máme pár převzatých písní. V našich písních lze najít mnoho žánrů, ačkoliv se většinou vše točí kolem punku, nehrajeme pouze punk a ani se o to nesnažíme. Můžete zde nalézt prvky melodického metalu, rock and rollu, bluesu, hardcoru či rocku. Jsme kapela převážně anarchistického přesvědčení, které prezentujeme i ve svých písních a na koncertech.

!! WARNING !! Dont use a pick to remove fuel lines, you will punch a hole on the seal and cause a fuel leak on the lines. Use a needle-nose or some sort of pliers and lightly pinch the front end of the fuel line connector. that is where the quick release is located.

Thank you! I had my 2003 VW Jetta fail in Wyoming three weeks ago, over an hour away from my home. After towing it off the Interstate and finding my way back home, I found your video. Two mechanics quoted me ~$600 for the parts & labor repair. bought a replacement fuel pump off of Amazon for $85 with expedited delivery, and was able to drive my Jetta home today.

You just have to clean the fuel level sending unit. It's the little board the float makes electrical contact with. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton ball (careful with residue) the curved part. Hope this helps others. Thanks for the excellent video, you saved me more than a hundred bucks.

peter brown you can always put a pressure gauge in line and Rev up motor see what kind of pressure is building. try the filter first they get clogged and can cause similar symptoms

My mechanic changed my fuel pump on my 2003 Volkswagen jetta 2.0. Everything was working beautifully. Drive it around and it ran perfect. Yesterday I drove to the car wash and noticed the fuel gauge was on E. Car was still driving and it was no issue and it is a full tank in my gas tank. I drove to go to the grocery store and a half mile of me driving my car cut completely cut off. Now it won't start. It is not turning over at all. The fuel pump is still making the sound when I put it in the on switch. My mechanic is completely lost on what is causing this. Someone please help...

Hey there Cody,
I have a 2001 VW Golf GLS 1.8t, automatic. The issue that's been going with this baby is that every time I leave a stop and press the gas pedal, the car feels like it is not raising up the speed until 2 seconds go by which by then the car launches real quick. It's fun but it doesn't feel right. So basically it goes from 0-25 in about 4 seconds then it goes from 25-45 in about 2 seconds. I don't know if that helps. Also, there has been two times when I was driving and the car shut off on me, gas pedal got hard, break pedal too, and the steering wheel got stiff. It turned on after a couple of seconds. I went to VW deal ship and they said that it has to do with the fuel pump. I was wondering about your thoughts.?

P.s. I just put a new battery, water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt, and alternator less than 6 months ago. If that helps. Thanks!

Fun fact because I just got done doing this. Those two hoses attached to the pump, they are not just a pop off deal. There are tiny switches on the base of the plug that need to be pushed for it to release the little flange that is on those posts. Just FYI. Spent a good bit of time just trying to rip them off with a set of pliers.

Two very simple things to get you started, pop the back seat up and get her to turn the key on while you listen to see if the pump turns on. Second you can undo the air cleaner and spray a little starting fluid if it starts you know its a fuel issue if it dont start its something else

Great video ! The only issue I had was the clips that hold the lines on top of the pump , I thought they was pull outs but u push them in . Just Incase anyone else misunderstood thought I’d post because it’s a b* to get off if you break them . Thanks for the video though saved me lots of money !

I have a Jetta 04 I replaced the pump works great! The only issue is it won't stay sealed and it is leaking gas underneath the car. I have "re-sealed" it several times, even using a type of glue with no luck. I have yet to replace the fuel filter which I plan to do this weekend. However, is there any thoughts as to why this is happening? Engine light comes on with a fuel efficiency code.

Thanks. I ask because i just tried to change the pump and it started leaking a lot of fuel and had to put the line back really fast. In some forums they say you have to open the fuel intake to release pressure and remove the fuel pump fuse to avoid spills. i might try that.

Hi,I recently replaced my fuel pump thru watching this videos and did it correctly as I hoped, but now my fuel gauge isn't reading correctly, I used to put 20$ gas and it would go right around half tank now 20$ goes almost full tank, which I think full tank used to be around $45 did I messed up somewhere or the new pump has different settings on sending unit

Just did this repair last Saturday. Everything was working great until today. Now the fuel gauge is acting erratically. Stayed on E (although I knew it was closer to 7/8) then hit a little bump and it bounced back up all the way to F, then while sitting at a light dropped down to E again. On Saturday night I was low on gas and filled up - which it registered fine.
I read some where that the floater lever might be getting stuck and to try techron. I'd really like to avoid taken it apart again to get the gauge fixed so is there anything else to try?

@Cody the Car Guy Thanks I'll check the iac. I filled up last night and it only took about 5.5 gallons (less than half). I'll probably take it apart again this weekend and see if its moving freely. I have a feeling it is just getting stuck up and down. Would it be bad to take the float off the old one and attach to this new pump?

Revs to 2000 can be your iac simply unplug sensors and see if they make a difference and yes you should hear the whining thats normal its telling you the pump is working. You might be out of gas, i cant tell you how many times that has been the case and a messed up gauge.

@Cody the Car Guy Thanks for the response! I just checked the three connectors. The fuel lines both seemed tight. The sending unit was tight too but it is missing that little clip connector. The car still starts fine - just back to telling me there is zero gas.
With the seat up and the metal cap off, it sounds like there's maybe a whining noise coming from that general area. Maybe that's normal but I can't hear it with everything closed up.
I should also mention, a few months ago I changed my fuel pump relay because it's havign intermittent starting issues and random engine revving issues (didn't solve it). I thought the complete fuel pump replacement would fix all that but it still happens although seems to be slightly better. The engine tends to rev to 2000 rpms on its own (whether parked or driving; starting to think this is MAF sensor) and sometimes won't start. Most notably won't start well after being almost empty and filling up (sometimes have to pump the clutch or pop the clutch completely). (1999 Jetta new body style) Thanks for any insight you can give me.

just did this procedure on my 03 jetta 1.8t and i saw fuel pumps ranging from $40 on ebay to $315 at the shop, my mechanic wanted 150$ for the labor so i decided to do it myself. I also decided to buy a bosch fuel pump($150) because i knew the brand. one thing to mention is the little plastic tips on the top of the pump are fragile and mine broke upon removing the hose. it was a bitch to get out so just a warning on that one GO BUY THE HOOK TOOL IN THE VID or you'll be spending an hour picking the broken piece out with needle nose plyers lol

dude it took me and my dad like an hour to get that piece of sh** off. For me it was the tip from the old pump stuck in the line, we bought that hook tool and literally scraped it out piece by piece. I'm not sure if thats the same part youre having a problem with but i hope that helps.

You forgot to tell everyone that there is an arrow on the top of the fuel pump/sender unit lid that lines up with an arrow on the metal chassis of the car...the arrow is on the left side on the edge and its important this lines up exactly otherwise you will get issues.

runrunner439 nice video you can unplug the electrical connector to the pump assembly and crank the engine over a couple times and relive pressure and remove the gas cap for a few seconds then reinstall the cap to relive tank pressure. and one more thing there are marks on the tank and pump assembly that you line up so that unit is aligned properly. but a very good video. hope you don't mind the input.

Great video! I started doing this on my 2003 Jetta but it's 30 degrees out and it doesn't seem like the black hose will slide off without braking. I'm assuming these hoses just too brittle in the cold to be messing with them?

@Cody the Car Guy Thanks! The clips came off with no issue. But for the lines to bend easier, I took a hot damn rag and applied it to the hoses for several minutes until they softened a bit. It worked. Got it switched out! Thanks for your replay and the video. Super helpful.

be very careful when its that cold out they become brittle !! Push the little clip in and then wiggle it some it should slide off UNLESS you still have some fuel pressure on the line if so remove the fuel pump fuse and start the car so it will take the pressure off.

I have a 2006 2.5l Jetta with 155k miles on it.. And I notice at times when the tank is a 1/4 to 1/2 full I can hear a beeping noise(like the timer on a bomb)coming from the trunk on the right side. As well as a knocking sound as if someone is locked in the trunk and trying to escape from the right side. Both sounds do stop after a few minutes, but it seems to happen if I haven't driven it in a few days. Another thing that happens is, when I fill the tank up it won't start right away, it will kill. I would have to pump the gas pedal while not on a few times then crank it. But in order for it to stay on I have to idle it for a couple of seconds, after that it runs fine. I also replaced the MAF sensor, air filter, and valve cover because I got a code P2279 and it was stalling & jerking. So I don't know if it's the fuel filter or fuel pump that's causing this issue.

Well most of the time if the pumps not working you wont have too much pressure but sometimes there will be some pressure and yes fuel will come out but you can take some of that pressure off by the Schrader valve on the fuel rail just push it in with something to release pressure, and deff dont turn on the key while the lines are off or you can make a big mess quick , but if your changing it yourself you already know not to turn the key on.

"Slide it right in"That rubber seal is not inserted properly and it is a lot more difficult to seat it properly than shown. I can see a lot of people not installing it correctly if they are going to follow this video. I would think that the rubber seal might require some lubrication. Even if you were to just mention it that it will not go in without a fight, that would be very useful information.

Well the fuel pump pressurizes the fuel rail so the injectors have correct pressure to supply the motor with fuel, first i would check if it is actually coming on or even spray a tad of starting fluid into the throttle body and see if it starts, if it starts you know you have a fuel issue

@L De Leon Its actually a pick but you can use your finger or even a flat head screw driver just push down on the clip and it will release it just make sure you relieve some fuel pressure before you try to take the lines off

@redcent saidred i know i replied late but is this can be helpful for someone else. you dont want that stuff spraying everywhere. disconnect the power wires on the F.P. and crank the motor the injectors should relieve the pressure, if it ran let it run until it dies out. if it doesnt run just crank it a few times. better to be safe than sorry. use safety glasses when disconnecting lines that stuff burns!!!

I just looked the jetta dont have the normal schrader style valve so just unclip the fuel line it will release pressure just make sure the motor is not hot

Hi I have a VW 02 golf, it died on me the other day when I was driving...before this it wasn't shifting correctly and then I heard a bang and it died..two weeks ago I replaced the alternator, battery, and coil pack...today I did research and thought it was fuel pump, replaced that...it didn't fix the problem...I'm just very pissed off about the whole thing and hope someone can help me on my daily driver..

@Dominick I im ase mastertech. some garages are shady and i would not buy a car from them. that being said go to a different shop or autoparts store and have them pluggin a code reader or scan tool. there could be a code for the check engine light which would really help. just because the light is not on it does not mean that there isnt a code. sometimes they are stored in memory and it takes a couple of failures for it to turn on, especially if they just reset the pcm, the computer has to relearn how to adjust itself. also very rare but possible, sometimes the light stayed on for such a long time that it burned out

it can be a maf or low fuel pressure ,i had a 05 focus 2.0 so if you hear some popping coming from the intake area when you step on it then its a lean condition from bad fuel filter or pump not making enough pressure

Cody, wish you would have mentioned that you have to re calibrate your fuel level sender unit after replacing the fuel pump and that this requires a VAG-COM programmer or take it to a VW repair shop. I don't think I ended up saving any money because of this.

Couldnt sleep last night ? :p well if the gauge is doing that id bet one of two things bad gauge in cluster or the sending unit in the tank is starting to go bad , but if you know your car and mileage then i wont worry too much about it acting up here and there , id only worry bout it when it completely stops working . I Need help please! I was changing my fuel filter on my 2000 vw jetta and I broke the clip off with the plastic piece still in the hose! It's the hose going from fuel filter back to the tank. Im thinking that its the black next to the blue one you see when you have the back seat up in the video...I Can't find a part #anywhere. Any help would be great. Any ideas ?

I've bought this wrench at Home Depot that has a rubber strap on it. You wrap the strap around plastic caps, lock it, then pry it open. It works really well for these types of jobs.

@Cody the Car Guy okay thanks got it I turned the car on and it worked good but my fuel indicator in my dash is not working? it just stays in the E does not move any suggestions what I did wrong??

You have to push in the clip that releases the line now on the one side if you have a lot of fuel pressure it will make it very difficult to remove

No you dont have to drain it, BUT you do have to put something down because the pump itself will leak extra fuel no matter what you do so just be ready for that spill , i use newspapers or shop towels

Hi, I have just changed my fuel pump on vw golf TDI mk5, it started first time, but after driving it about 12 miles it started shuddering then cut out,I managed to get it started again, drove it back home and same thing happened at the bottom of my road. It turned over OK this morning so I took it to gas station and filled tank, only for it to cut out again at the traffic lights on the way back home, since refitting I have probably done 30 miles in it. do you ave any Idea what my problem is? would really appreciate any feedback. many thanks

@Cody the Car Guy cody is this the same way of taking out the fuel pump and fuel control module on my passat 2006?thanks a million you are a life savor.times are tough and we can't afford mechanic shops.

no I haven't changed the fuel filter, I am going to take it in to get done tomorrow. I did everything the same as I did with last pump ( the sender unit was faulty and stoppped working after a month. it was an after market pump. so I bought a new OE part and swapped them over. 'also I didnt changed the gasket, i used the same one from last pump as I thought it'd be ok as it was only a month old... I bought the gasket from VW

Did you change the filter ? And im gonna bet it has to do with the repair that was just done.

My 2000 2.0 really lags alot and i smell gas sometimes. Also if i stop really short at a stop sigh or red light it cuts off and i have to start car again

id pop your back seat up remove the cover and make sure nothing is leaking also look around your injectors and make sure nothing is leaking. The stopping fast and shuts off can be a iac not working correctly.
