Celebration
You've spent a long time waiting
For a perfect yesterday,
Now fill your heart with celebration
For that's love's way.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to PFM's "Celebration" are a powerful reminder to let go of the past and embrace the present moment. The first line, "You've spent a long time waiting," suggests that the listener has been holding onto something from the past - perhaps a lost love or a missed opportunity. However, the next line, "For a perfect yesterday," implies that this longing for the past is futile, as yesterday can never truly be perfect. Instead, the lyrics encourage the listener to celebrate the present moment, regardless of whether or not it meets their expectations. This celebration is framed as a manifestation of love, which implies that letting go of the past and embracing the present is an act of self-love.

The tone of the lyrics is uplifting and celebratory, with the repeated refrain of "celebration" encouraging the listener to focus on what they have in the present rather than what they have lost in the past. The final line, "For that's love's way," suggests that this celebration is not just a joyful event, but an expression of a deeper truth or principle - that love is about embracing the present and letting go of the past.

Overall, the lyrics to "Celebration" are an inspiring reminder to embrace the present and celebrate life in all its imperfections. They suggest that letting go of the past and being fully present in the moment is not only a path to personal happiness, but an expression of love and connection to the world around us.

Grandi PFM!!! Un vero peccato che oggi non esistano più gruppi italiani così... Questa è musica altro che Anna Tatangelo.

I did NOT realize how wicked Premoli was on keys!! It sounds complex and fun and all, but watching these guys perform is something else! And Mussida on guitar...well his part has a complexity that doesn't show up on just listening. Piazza's bass lines though is comes off as complex as they sound. Unsung GIANT of prog!!

Penso sia bene ricordare, che, già sulla scena da alcuni anni prima di questa spettacolare performance, questi straordinari Musicisti, avevano poco più di 25 anni d'età, ed una eccellente preparazione musicale.
