His first release was a Free Download project titled Coins 2 Notes which dropped at the start of 2008. It is well liked due to his fast skippy flow being used on many tracks, something which he changed for his future releases. It features producers such as Rude Kid, Joker and many more, as well as many MC features.
Since then P Money's work rate has been very high with the release of two further projects in September 2008. One was a further Free Download called A Little Back Then With Now featuring MC's such as Little Dee, Desperado and Tempman. Producers such as Skepta, Dot Rotten and Wiley are included and it is mixed by DJ Pester.
As well as this he also dropped his debut shop release entitled P Money Is Power on the 29th of September. This mix cd included MC's such as Blacks, Ice Kid and Little Dee. The producers involved included Dot Rotten, Crayzee Bandit and Mr Slash. This mixcd included well-received tracks such as Sounds and Gimmicks and the remix for What Did He Say, for which a video was shot. There is also a video for the tune London Boy from this CD.
On the 7th September 2009 P Money released his second mixcd titled Money Over Everyone. It has been very well received by fans, hailed as release of the year by many. There are many big name features such as Wiley, Frisco and fellow OG's members Blacks & Little Dee on vocals, and the producers include Silencer, Rude Kid, Scratcha, Maniac & many more. P Money once again delivered many original ideas for tunes on this CD such as the clever yet still hype 1UP and Fruits & Veg, as well as Hot Ones, which features Blacks and Little Dee spitting each others bars.
P Money is known for going to radio on a much more consistant basis than many MC's in the grime scene. He can often be heard on DJ JJ Rinse FM show on early Monday mornings at 1-3am. If you are looking for some P Money sets, make sure you check out his two Logan Sama sets from 2009 Here and Here as well as the many appearances with DJ JJ Here in the folder titled "DJ JJ (rinse FM)".

You ain't gotta tell me, I knew this
I'm active, you ain't gotta help me, I'm healthy
Kings row, sitting in Chelsea, bell me
Tipsy in the bedlam with the wealthy
What's that on the table? LP
Magnum, Rosé, next up LV
Wifey looking all spicey, Mel B
Them do it for the elderly
OG's sitting up OT
Out there, in and out cool, like Kobe
You know me, real ghetto boy like Coley
Feet up sitting in the ends, cosy
I got a new young gunner, Iwobi
Keep the mash in doors, Toasty
Nobody owe me, Quaglife chose me
I wanna carvery, phone up Toby
Yo G, man a OG, man knows me
OG's over the top, man's OB
Labels getting dropped out, no Sony
Two jabs from a OG, man OD
Hook mask on, not Bo Peep
I was OT with cats, man's Mowgli
Need help with the target, Fam phone me
Last year, I hit my last three, man's Kobe
Duglife, got 'em sitting upright
Grinding for the whole day, and I'm up night
Some nights, bust more shots than a gun fight
Please don't talk in my car, bug life
I've had enough of west end, up tight
I don't club right, I used to club light
I'm in boozers, filling up Hooters
One more Stella Artois, it's a pub fight
Pub fight, we could swing now 'til sunrise
No guys, with no jobs or love life
Drive with a burner, hashtag glove life
Two packs in the boot, this is all thug life
Tell 'em that's only one side, Glovelife
Text little D, "What's the club like?"
Said, "It's bopping," I said, "Yeah?" he said, "Mum's life"
Now I'm rapping this thing, getting tongue tied
Say mate, everybody vacate
Man normally go sleep, when I haymake
Chat shit, hit em with a bang like AJ
Worst ways, hit em with a bottle like Dave Haye
I'm ok mate, woke up a day late
Lagbo drunk with the girls from Babestache
Brandy, all in my blood like ray jay
Sex tape, oh wait, no wait, Mayday
Mayday wouldn't even do it if he paid mate
Labels wanna feature, I charge 8k
Couple minutes on my JDZ, AK
'Cause all my tunes get a pull-up like Jaykae's
I still remember the Grade A's
Back then it wasn't Lidl, it was Safeway's
Grinding hard, making my own payday
I was shottin food from my house, doing takeaways
Waving, man a sailing
Got old bill on the pavement, tailing
It's draining, but I gotta keep trading
No days in, money gotta keep making
No, shaving when I'm raving
It's a beard gang, on a Bathing Ape ting
No saving, bottles come out the casing
Heart racing, wish that I woulda stayed in
With the girl, they'll be loved up, on a Drake ting
But I can't, 'cause I got money to be making
Got a car and bike, for the summer day ting
It's not a public transting, I'm not Caitlin
I'm, so A-M-A-zing, back in school
I was roll deep taping
Ten man deep, leave a whole squad blazing
All my enemies are bread, for the baking, it's
Baking, man a baker
Got tech like Neymar, elevator
Wanna turn up, been about since Deja
Nowadays man spin an MC, on radar was
Me and Craver, on the Sega
When the sheets got rager, 'cause of paper
Got baiter, now man want a favour
Little D and P-Money the Originator
Demonstrater, merking man are A Class
Shotting A class, in trees, for the paper
Lightsaber, tell a man see ya later
Callin' my girls, X-Men, X-saviour
Since, back when I had a pager
Top player, FIFA, we could wager
Don't pay up, David Haymaker
Man are getting permed out, in the straightener
The lyrics to P Money's song "Back to Back" reflect his pride and confidence in his own individuality. He declares that there is only one of him and he doesn't need anyone's validation because he already knows his worth. He mentions his active and healthy lifestyle, sitting in posh areas like Kings Row in Chelsea, and enjoying luxury items like LP (vinyl records), magnum rosé champagne, and LV (Louis Vuitton) products. P Money also mentions his wife looking attractive like Mel B, a reference to the former Spice Girls member.
He contrasts his own actions, which he claims are for the youth, with others who only do things for the elderly. P Money boasts about OGs (Original Gangsters) sitting outside of town (OT) and being cool like Kobe Bryant. He identifies himself as a "real ghetto boy" and takes pride in his upbringing. He casually mentions his gunner (someone who is skilled with firearms), Iwobi, and how he keeps the weapons at home, emphasizing his involvement in the streets. P Money ends the verse by expressing his desire for a carvery, humorously suggesting that he'll call Toby, a popular carvery chain in the UK.
In the second verse, P Money starts by referencing his reputation as an OG (Original Gangster) and how people know him. He mentions that labels are dropping artists, comparing it to Sony Records dropping artists, and claims that he can deliver two punches like an OG, causing someone to OD (overdose). P Money uses wordplay to describe himself wearing a hook mask (a mask used to prevent spreading germs) instead of Bo Peep's shepherdess bonnet, indicating his readiness for action. He references spending time with cats (street-slang for criminals) and being like Mowgli from "The Jungle Book" when he is out of town (OT). P Money suggests that he's a reliable person to contact when someone needs help with a target (potentially referring to a hit order or debt collection). He concludes this section by comparing his success in music to Kobe Bryant's ability to make three-pointers.
In the third verse, P Money mentions "Duglife," possibly referring to his crew or neighborhood. He boasts about working hard throughout the day and staying up at night, mentioning nights where he fires more shots than in a gunfight. He requests not to talk in his car because of the "bug life," possibly referring to illegal activities or drama. P Money expresses his frustration with the West End (a district in London) and mentions his preference for clubbing in pubs instead. He humorously refers to filling up Hooters (a chain of sports bars) and ordering another Stella Artois (a beer brand associated with pubs), setting the scene for a pub fight.
In the fourth verse, P Money talks about swinging (fighting) until sunrise with people who have no jobs or love life. He mentions driving with a concealed weapon (burner) and references thug life by mentioning holding two packs (packets of drugs) in the car's trunk. He introduces the concept of Glovelife as a counter-narrative to thug life. P Money suggests that he only represents one side of Glovelife and texts someone named D to inquire about the club being lively. The response confirms his suspicions, and he jokingly mentions his tongue being tied from rapping.
In the final verse, P Money addresses someone who disrespected him, promising to hit them with a powerful blow like Anthony Joshua (AJ, a famous boxer). He makes another humorous reference to hitting someone with a bottle like David Hayes, another renowned boxer. P Money reassures himself by saying he's okay and that he's waking up a day late after a strong night of drinking. He mentions being drunk with girls from Babestache, a potentially fictitious entity. He notes that brandy runs through his bloodstream like Ray J, referencing the singer's infamous sex tape scandal. P Money humorously suggests that Mayweather wouldn't even attempt the feat even if he were paid, and he charges labels 8k to feature on their songs. He talks about his success on JDZ (a music platform) and how his songs receive repeated plays like Jaykae's pull-up songs. He reminisces about buying Grade A drugs from Safeway's (a former supermarket chain) and the hard work he put into making money, even resorting to selling food from his house.
Overall, "Back to Back" showcases P Money's pride in his individuality, success, and street credibility. He confidently delivers clever wordplay and references to popular culture, while also providing glimpses into his lifestyle and experiences.
