S… Read Full Bio ↴Paola Turci (born 12 September 1964 in Rome) is an Italian singer.
She made her live debut at Sanremo Music Festival in 1986 with the song"L'uomo di ieri", written by Mario Castelnuovo and two years later she released her first album: "Ragazza sola ragazza blu". Her breakthrough came in 1989 when her song "Bambini", included in her self-titled album, became a huge success. In 1993 the artist released "Ragazze", followed by 1995's "Una sgommata e via" and 1996's "Volo così: 1986-1996". That same year, Paola Turci moved from BMG to WEA, recording her second smash, a song called "Mi manchi tu," based on John Waite's "Missing You".
Utopia

E' casa mia
È un luogo diverso
È un'utopia
E non fare tanto il critico
Con quello snobismo tipico
Dell'intellettuale che medita su
Canzoni leggere cantate in TV
The song "Utopia" by Paola Turci is about the desire to escape the confines of the mundane world and find a place of true meaning and fulfillment. The lyrics reject the mainstream values that society promotes, as the singer rejects the notions of philosophy and sociology. Instead, she seeks to transcend the banality of everyday life by climbing a star and making her own world. She sees this as her "ideology," a way of life that she has created and that is completely different from the usual way of living.
The chorus tells us that the singer's "ideology" is a utopia, a perfect world that exists only in her mind. She urges those who criticize her lifestyle to consider the benefits of taking risks and making a change in their lives. She asserts that sometimes, staying in one place means that you never truly move forward, and it is only by taking chances and exploring new ideas that we can find true happiness.
Overall, the song is a call for people to be brave, to reject the pressures of mainstream society, and to follow their hearts in pursuit of a better life.

@cinquantauno

Ciao
@claudia88ful
