Sweden’s Paralydium was founded by John Berg (originally The Paralydium Project) with a vision to create an innovative mixture of hard hitting heavy riffs, melodical landscapes and rhytmical grooves, he soon began to set the machinery in motion.
Gathering Sweden’s most accomplished musicians, they recorded three songs and released their self-titled EP in October 2015 which put them on the map in the world of progressive metal. With influences from the prog elite, Paralydium created a unique sound combining all their elements which best could be described as a journey that takes you through space and time.
After receiving nice reviews and appraisals for the EP, it was understood that it was high time for a follow up. The writing process began shortly after the release and it took almost four years before completion.
Their long awaited full-length album is tentatively set for release early 2020.
