PartyNextDoor earned his first number-one song as a songwriter when on January 27, 2016, Rihanna released the lead single "Work" from her eighth studio album, Anti.[13][14] The song maintained its spot at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. He also penned the song "Sex with Me" on the same album.[2] On March 25, 2016, PartyNextDoor released "Come and See Me", which features fellow artist Drake, from his upcoming second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3 (also known as P3). All of my niggas steady snoring
While we still drunk off some Patron and
Baby easy on the moaning
Can I hit it in the morning?
All of my niggas steady snoring
Baby easy on the moaning
Can I hit in the morning?
All of my niggas steady snoring
Baby easy on the moaning
Let me get up in my zone and
Can I hit it in the
Can I hit it the morning?
Still feels like it's nighttime
Move a little to the left
I wait until the right time
All my niggas dead asleep we up in the AM
I know it's hard to keep the silence
But who's really saying ooooh baby
I know you really wanna say ooooh baby
The lyrics to PARTYNEXTDOOR's song "Hit It In The Morning" explore the idea of engaging in sexual activity in the early hours of the day. The song begins with the artist expressing his desire to engage with his partner in the morning, while his friends are still asleep. The reference to them "still drunk off some Patron" suggests a late-night party atmosphere, but the artist wants to focus on his intimate connection with his partner.
The lyrics also touch upon the need for his partner to be calm and quiet during their encounter, as indicated by the line "Baby easy on the moaning." This implies that they are trying to keep their activity discreet so as not to disturb their sleeping friends. The repetition of the question "Can I hit it in the morning?" throughout the song emphasizes the artist's desire for this particular intimate experience.
The second verse suggests that despite the early hour, it still feels like nighttime to the artist. He mentions wanting to wait for the right time and the difficulty of keeping their actions a secret. The line "All my niggas dead asleep we up in the AM" further emphasizes the clandestine nature of their activity.
