2007β2014: Career beginnings and debut album
Having made electronic-infused R&B under his real name Jahron Brathwaite [Jahron B], he signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell as a songwriter, under the name PartyNextDoor, at age 18.[7][failed verification] His first mixtape, PartyNextDoor, was released to the iTunes Store on July 1, 2013.[8] It entered on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart at number six with sales of 2,000 copies[9] and peaked at number 34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for the week of July 20, 2013.[10] He performed background vocals on "Own It" and "Come Thru" from Drake's third studio album, Nothing Was the Same.[11]
His debut studio album PartyNextDoor Two was released on July 30, 2014. The record featured singles like "Thirsty", "FWU", "East Liberty" and the Billboard charted "Recognize", featuring Drake. Later that year, on December 3, 2014, PartyNextDoor released the four-track EP titled PNDColours, with the follow-up COLOURS 2, released in 2017.[12] In 2015, he produced three songs on Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late: "Legend", "Preach" and "Wednesday Night Interlude".[7]
2016βpresent: PartyNextDoor 3, Partymobile and Partypack
PartyNextDoor earned his first number-one song as a songwriter when on January 27, 2016, Rihanna released the lead single "Work" from her eighth studio album, Anti.[13][14] The song maintained its spot at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. He also penned the song "Sex with Me" on the same album.[2] On March 25, 2016, PartyNextDoor released "Come and See Me", which features fellow artist Drake, from his upcoming second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3 (also known as P3). A music video directed by affiliate and collaborator Adrian Martinez and featuring appearances by Kylie Jenner, Big Sean, and JhenΓ© Aiko was released on Snapchat on June 23, 2016.[15] On June 15, 2016, Jeremih called into Real 92.3 LA to announce a joint album with PartyNextDoor called Late Night Party. On July 2, 2016, he released another single, "Like That", featuring Jeremih and Lil Wayne, on OVO Sound radio.[16] On July 21, 2016, PartyNextDoor announced the release date for his second studio album PartyNextDoor 3 for August 12, 2016, and released "Not Nice", the record's second single.[17]
He and Jeremih toured in 2016 and had plans to release a joint project.[18]
On June 4, 2017, PartyNextDoor released Colours 2 without any prior announcement. A short film for the EP was released on June 12, 2017.[citation needed]
On September 29, 2017, he released an EP titled Seven Days, which included guest appearances from Halsey and Rick Ross.
After a lead artist hiatus PartyNextDoor returned in December 2019 with two singles "The News" and "Loyal", with the latter featuring Drake. They served as the lead singles of his album Partymobile which he tweeted would be released in February.[19] The album was eventually released on March 27, 2020, following delays.[20]
On October 15, 2020, Party surprise-announced the release of Partypack, a seven-song EP containing previously unreleased songs like the 2014 song "Persian Rugs". The EP was released the following day.[21]
On January 29, 2021, Party released his 2014 EP, Colours, to streaming services for the first time. It includes four extra tracks that were previously released as Colours 2 in 2017.
Love Me Again

Never meant to cause you pain
I never knew it'd play out this way
Maybe one more time of a good time
And you might change your mind
You might not feel the same
Might not love me again
You might love me again
You might love me again, no
You might love me again
You might love me, ooh
You might love me again, oh, oh
You might love me again
I need you to see my eyes
So now that I can tell you different
I need you to see my side
So you can see what it is and what it isn't
I'm not vindictive, baby, please don't resent me
Baby, please, I want you to love me again
Again and again and again
Love me again
I wouldn't make the same mistakes again
Love me again
You might love me again, no
You might love me again
You might love me, ooh
You might love me again, oh, oh
You might love me
It's too late to be friends
Last week I had a terrible week
'Cause pride won't let us tell
Pushin' my pride to the side
I'm keepin' hope alive
In case you might love me again
Again
Love me gain, again
Love me again
Love, love
A shame, I done hoped and prayed that you
You might love me again, no
You might love me again
You might love me, ooh
You might love me again, oh, oh
Oh love, love me again
PARTY
In "Love Me Again" by PARTYNEXTDOOR, the artist expresses regret for causing his significant other pain and trouble in their relationship. He recognizes that his actions have led to a change in their feelings towards him, but he still hopes that they might be able to love him again. The lyrics suggest that the relationship has ended, but the artist is not ready to give up hope for reconciliation. He wants his partner to see his perspective and understand that he is not a vindictive person, but instead genuinely wants to be loved again.
The repetition of "love me again" throughout the song emphasizes the artist's desire to mend the relationship and his acknowledgement that he may have made mistakes. The line "It's too late to be friends" suggests that he is not interested in just being friends, but rather wants to rekindle the romantic aspect of their relationship. The use of the phrase "keepin' hope alive" and the phrasing of "hope and prayed" in the last stanza reinforce this idea that he is not willing to let go of the possibility of reuniting with his partner.
Overall, "Love Me Again" is a song about regret, longing, and hope. The artist recognizes the pain he has caused, but still believes that their love is worth fighting for. The repetition of the chorus and the emotional delivery of the lyrics give the song a sense of urgency and intensity.

Do ya'll now see why it is important for him to never go mainstream??? This level of creativity can only come from a mind that is free from outside criticism and not bound by the mentality to commercialize the sound!!! PND is the illest of this time hands down!!!
