His debut studio album PartyNextDoor Two was released on July 30, 2014. The record featured singles like "Thirsty", "FWU", "East Liberty" and the Billboard charted "Recognize", featuring Drake. Later that year, on December 3, 2014, PartyNextDoor released the four-track EP titled PNDColours, with the follow-up COLOURS 2, released in 2017.[12] In 2015, he produced three songs on Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late: "Legend", "Preach" and "Wednesday Night Interlude".[7]

PartyNextDoor earned his first number-one song as a songwriter when on January 27, 2016, Rihanna released the lead single "Work" from her eighth studio album, Anti.[13][14] The song maintained its spot at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. He also penned the song "Sex with Me" on the same album.[2] On March 25, 2016, PartyNextDoor released "Come and See Me", which features fellow artist Drake, from his upcoming second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3 (also known as P3). After a lead artist hiatus PartyNextDoor returned in December 2019 with two singles "The News" and "Loyal", with the latter featuring Drake. They served as the lead singles of his album Partymobile which he tweeted would be released in February.[19] The album was eventually released on March 27, 2020, following delays.[20]
On October 15, 2020, Party surprise-announced the release of Partypack, a seven-song EP containing previously unreleased songs like the 2014 song "Persian Rugs". The EP was released the following day.[21]
On January 29, 2021, Party released his 2014 EP, Colours, to streaming services for the first time. It includes four extra tracks that were previously released as Colours 2 in 2017.

'Cause I need answers from you
I need answers from you
I got questions for you
So why don't you got answers for me?
Have you ever lied?
It's a dumb question, baby girl, 'cause everybody lies
But did you lie with someone else, baby?
Look, you know it's actually on a hunnid
But, babe, right now it's on a zero
I'm not gonna ask you was it worth it
'Cause I know I'm not perfect
We are young and you're still searching and uncertain
My heart's been broken before
This a feeling I already know
I just want the truth, it's just between me and you
They don't even know, they don't even have a clue
Confess, confess, girl
Need to know facts
Confess and text me back, don't hold back
My battery is low, but I hope my messages come through
'Cause I need answers from you
I, I need answers from you
I got questions for you
So why don't you got answers for me?
Have you ever lied?
It's a dumb question, baby girl, 'cause everybody lies
But did you lie with someone else, baby?
What you tryna do? Are you tryna hurt my ego?
Listen, you coulda said you want to see different people
Never knew that your love was so lethal
Shot, shot, shot, it's a shot, baby
Kept your secrets on the D-low
Lowkey like a C-note
No need for the long-talking, girl
I just want the truth
Face it, reality, there's no getting back with you
Give me the truth, it's just between me and you
They don't even know, they don't even have a clue
Confess, confess, girl
Need to know facts
Confess and text me back, don't hold back
'Cause my battery is low but I hope my messages come through
'Cause I need answers from you
I, I need answers from you
I got questions for you
So why don't you got answers for me?
Have you ever lied?
It's a dumb question, baby girl, 'cause everybody lies
But did you lie with someone else?
Someone else
You must have wanted someone else
My battery's on low and I hope my messages go through
In PARTYNEXTDOOR's song "Low Battery," the artist expresses his frustration and anxiety about his partner's loyalty. The song begins with the artist lamenting his low battery and wondering if his messages will go through to his partner. He has questions for his partner about fidelity and is frustrated that she hasn't given him answers. He assumes that she has lied with someone else and asks if she is trying to hurt his ego by not giving him answers.
Throughout the rest of the song, the artist implores his partner to tell him the truth, acknowledging that he's not perfect but needs to know what really happened. He asks her if she wanted someone else and tells her that her secrets have been kept on the DL, low key like a C-note. He pleads with her to confess and not hold back the truth. The song ends with the artist hoping his messages will go through despite his low battery, as he needs answers from his partner.
Overall, "Low Battery" is a poignant reflection on the difficulties of navigating relationships in the 21st century, where technology and the ability to stay connected can sometimes amplify insecurities and anxieties. The song confronts the universal struggle of wanting honesty and answers from a partner, while also recognizing the complexities and uncertainties of modern love.
