Song for You
Passion Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Let our praise be Your welcome
Let our songs be a sign
We are here for You, we are here for You

Let Your breath come from heaven
Fill our hearts with Your life
We are here for You, we are here for You
To You our hearts are open
Nothing here is hidden
You are our one desire
You alone are holy
Only You are worthy
God, let Your fire fall down

Let our shout be Your anthem
Your renown fill the skies
We are here for You, we are here for You

Let Your Word move in power
Let what's dead come to life
We are here for You, we are here for You

To You our hearts are open
Nothing here is hidden
You are our one desire
You alone are holy
Only You are worthy
God, let Your fire fall down

To You our hearts are open
Nothing here is hidden
You are our one desire
You alone are holy
Only You are worthy
God, let Your fire fall down

Let it fall
Let it fall
Let it fall

We welcome You with praise
We welcome You with praise
Almighty God of love
Be welcomed in this place

We welcome You with praise
We welcome You with praise
Almighty God of love
Be welcomed in this place

Let every heart adore
Let every soul awake
Almighty God of love
Be welcomed in this place

We welcome You with praise
We welcome You with praise
Almighty God of love
Be welcomed in this place

Be welcome in Your house, Lord
Be welcome in Your house

He was born in a stable, yet the King of all kings..
No servants, yet they call Him Master..
No degree, yet I call Him my Teacher..
No medicines, yet they call Him Healer..
No army, yet He saved..
No sin in Him, yet He took all of mine..
No crime committed, yet they crucified Him..
They spat on Him, mocked Him, nailed Him to the cross, yet He says, Father please forgive them..
They buried Him in a tomb, yet He lives today !! Thank You Lord Jesus Christ!

If faith can move the mountains
Let the mountains move
We come with expectation
Waiting here for you, I’m waiting here for you
You’re the Lord of all creation
And still you know my heart
The Author of Salvation
You’ve loved us from the start
Waiting here for You
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia
You are everything You’ve promised
Your faithfulness is true
And we're desperate for Your presence
All we need is You
Waiting here for You
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia
Singing Alleluia
Alleluia, singing alleluia, alleluia
Waiting here for You
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia
Waiting here for you
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
We're singing Alleluia
I'm singing Alleluia
Waiting here for you
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia
Singing Alleluia

This was my mom's favorite song. At the last moment of her life, she looked at me and winked her eye and I knew she was singing this song. Till I see you again mom, I love you...

God bless you Alice so much for sharing this😇 despite the outcome it was still beautiful to behold in the end😇 Your mother seems to have lived a God loving life and I’m so happy that this testimony reflected God’s Love in the end!😇

She would never want to return. My wife died while in hard labor with our son. She saw the Glory around the Throne of God, etc. She had a 2 year old girl as well, and didn't want to come back. She speaks of it now.....

@theshepherdwithin9654

@@chriswhite3332 wow!! The Glory around the Throne of God. Such a beautiful vision she saw 😇

@chriswhite3332

@@theshepherdwithin9654 She can scarcely talk about it without crying. This was 36 years ago, "seems like yesterday. Eternity has no time. The Shekina Glory around His Throne is brighter than the sun, indescribable". No one desires to return, however they long for thier loved one's to join them.....

I used to go to church and praise GOD daily. I lost my way and found a godless route for the past 11 years. I’ve been searching and searching for what has been missing in my life, with my relationship, and as a person. I’ve come to realize it’s GOD. After 11 years! It’s GOD! I haven’t been happy or fulfilled because HE hasn’t been there in my heart. Hearing this song several times in a row, I have just had a very deep worship session alone in my hotel room. GOD has filled my heart here now. HE has filled this room with his presence. I can’t stop crying! I have recommitted my life to him since I am HIS and always will be. I am happy. I am fulfilled and I am ready to be HIS again! Thank you for this beautiful worship song! My soul thanks you!
