Remember When
Patricia Lewis Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
All I wanna do is remember when
I remember you
I remember spring
I remember running from a sudden rain
We were strong
Wild and free
This summer love was like a fruit on the vine
So sweet we got lost in the wine
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
I remember fall
I remember tears
I remember holding you when heartbreak was here
I remember nights
Long lonely nights
Knowing I was sorry you were nowhere in sight
The stabs of winter snow piled at my door
I turned around and saw those eyes of yours
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
In this life
All I know
Love you with all of my soul
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
All I wanna do is remember when
Na na na na na na na na na na na na
All I wanna do is remember when
All I wanna do is remember when
The song "Remember When" by Patricia Lewis is a nostalgic love song that reminisces about the good old days of a past relationship. Throughout the song, the singer reflects on different seasons and moments spent with their significant other.
The first verse highlights joyful memories of spring, where the couple ran and played in the rain, carefree and in love. The second verse talks about fall and the pain of heartbreak, with the singer holding onto their lover as a source of comfort. The bridge emphasizes the depth of the singer's love by declaring that they love their partner with all of their soul. The song culminates with the final repetition of "All I wanna do is remember when," bringing the song full circle.
Overall, the lyrics of "Remember When" are a beautiful ode to the past, to love, and to the feeling of nostalgia. The song invites listeners to reflect on their own personal memories and the power of nostalgia in their lives.
