Come Around
Peter McPoland Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hey
Are you ready to go?
I'm just waitin' in your driveway
Watching the breeze blow

Say
What you already know
You've been missing me for a while, babe
I hear it in your voice, let's take it real slow

Don't you know you're wonderful?
Don't you know you're beautiful?
Don't you know?
How long I wait for you to come around?

Well
I see you look condemned
I've noticed you pull the blinds back
When you hear me I'm driving 'round

So
Are your parents in town?
I don't mean to 'cause any trouble
Well, maybe a little if that's allowed

Don't you know you're wonderful?
Don't you know you're beautiful?
Don't you know?
How long I wait for you to come around?

All I really know, all I really know
There's something to live for
Baby, that's you
All I really know, all I really know
There's something to live for
Baby, that's you
If I die tonight, if I die tonight
I'd die loving you for the rest of my life
If I ever die, if I ever die
I'd die loving you for the rest of my life

Don't you know you're wonderful?
Don't you know you're beautiful?
Don't you know?
How long I wait for you to come around?

Don't you know?

Don't you know?
You know, you know, you know

I love it. Honestly I'm loving every second listening to your music. Every time and every song feels very close to my heart and it feels like it's very true. You Peter are also a very cool guy I think and I very much like your style. You're inspiring me and you've helped me to learn how to play the guitar and also you've helped me to realize that I don't want to continue living in the current path that I am on, because I want to be more like you and just have a good time making music. It seems like there isn't really anyone like you and definitely not in my country and I'm so happy that I got to know you and your music. Thank you :)
ps. it's also kinda funny cuz at first i was interested in your last name (cuz im from Poland ofc) and thanks to that i found you. which is very cool. ok thanks again. big thanks :)
